[Rem cosplay] Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Angel headcanon styling attempt

This time I tried the angel headcanon version of Rem from Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-. The overall clothing is dominated by pure white, with a vintage buttoned corset on the upper body, paired with delicate lace short sleeves and long gloves, and multi-layered ruffled puffy short skirts and white pantyhose on the lower body. To echo the description "If true love has a color", I chose a black cross necklace and a lace choker for the accessories to break the monotony brought by the large area of pure white, making it visually more layered. The wig was trimmed into the classic blunt-bangs short hair, wearing bright blue contact lenses. The makeup focused on deepening the blending of blush and eyeshadow, wanting to express the character's gentle yet somewhat fragile traits. The white feather wings behind me are an important prop for this styling. For the shooting effect, the fixing frame of the wings was adjusted many times, and finally tied to the inside of the shoulder straps, so that it won't show from the front. The shooting scene was chosen in an interior with a classical European-style layout, with a dark wooden piano, vintage photo frames, and a desk lamp in the background. The contrast between this dark wood background and the pure white clothing is very strong, allowing the main subject to instantly pop out of the frame. In terms of lighting, softboxes were mainly used, matching the warm-toned desk lamps indoors to create a dreamy and slightly retro atmosphere. To match this outfit, the poses during photography were mainly focused on sitting postures, which can not only show the layers of the skirt hem, but also highlight the texture of the stockings through the angle of leg extension. Sitting on the piano bench or pulling the lace veil with both hands, every action is trying to capture the character's elegance in a quiet state. Shooting this set of photos is actually quite physical demanding, because the wings and petticoat need to be constantly adjusted in position, but seeing the texture of light and shadow penetrating the white gauze in the final photos, I feel that the preliminary preparations were all worth it. I have always liked the character Rem, and the firmness and purity in her are particularly attractive. This attempt at angel headcanon is also an attempt to reinterpret her with another soft visual language. From the pattern making of the clothing and the selection of props to the determination of makeup styling and post-processing color grading, the whole process is also a concrete expression of my understanding of the character. I didn't deliberately cater to a specific scene, just wanted to record the texture of this headcanon styling in this quiet space.
