Today's photoshoot inspiration truly carried the irresistible aroma of fried chicken. Cranking New Eridu's idol energy straight up to the maximum, a sparkling idol shift belonging exclusively to the Angels of Delusion kicked off right here in the studio! The outfit I wore is a pink-and-white ensemble packed with intricate accents: heart-shaped sunglasses pinned to the chest, a pink studded choker hung with a blue-and-yellow bell, paired with wavy light-blonde hair and pale-blue geometric horns to push the 2D vibe to the absolute max. The detached pink sleeves are cinched with white leather straps and rivets, the bustier is embellished with pink sequins, and the corset's crisscross lacing flatters the waistline gracefully, while the hem of the white pleated skirt is trimmed with pink ruffles. To complement this attire, I wore over-the-knee White stockings with yellow athletic stripes, a light-blue garter band on my left thigh, and white chunky-heeled pumps for this Sunna cosplay.
Posing amidst an industrial set constructed from oil drums, cargo containers, and raw metallic elements was honestly quite the workout. Because the Angels of Delusion are inherently bursting with bubbly, vibrant vitality, I did my best to keep my expressions and gestures delightfully playful. This included sitting on an oil drum with legs crossed, leaning forward slightly to reach out for an interactive gesture, biting my lip playfully, and flashing peace signs. To best show off the contours of the legs, the angle of the high heels and White stockings required continuous calibration before the lens. The ambient lighting was quite intricate: the blue-purple rim and background lights created a sharp, cool-versus-warm contrast against the warm key light hitting my body, which added a bit of technical challenge to this Anime-style photography shoot.
The gear used this time was the Canon EOS R5 Mark II paired with the RF 24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM lens. This setup performed with rock-solid consistency under complex lighting conditions. The 24-105mm focal range proved wonderfully versatile—effortlessly framing full-body environmental scenes while quickly zooming in to catch subtle facial micro-expressions. When shooting against the serial-numbered industrial container paint, the shallow depth of field delivered by the wide aperture enriched the frame's visual dimension. Having premium equipment greatly boosted our shooting efficiency, allowing me to slip into character much faster. During post-production grading in Capture One, I intentionally preserved the high-saturation pink-and-white pop of the wardrobe while emphasizing the cool blue-purple tones of the backdrop, creating an intense visual impact. The crisp, industrial heft of the metal drums and the soft, alluring grace of the White stockings and heels formed a magnificent aesthetic contrast—this was the guiding vision of the color grading, striving for organic chiaroscuro transitions without crushing any fine details.
During the shoot, I also incorporated a fried chicken bucket as an interactive prop, grounding the entire idol promotion in a fun, authentic everyday charm. Striking poses atop oil drums and shipping crates in high heels was certainly exhausting and demanded serious core balance, but seeing the final images made every drop of effort worthwhile. This project is more than just a standard cosplay—it represents a vibrant embodiment of the character's buoyant idol spirit. From the sweeping curves of the hairstyle to every pleat and ruffle of the costume, we poured our hearts into channeling that boundless energy of the Angels of Delusion from Zenless Zone Zero. Our Angels of Delusion shift wrapped up smoothly today, and I hope everyone can feel this crisp, fried-chicken-scented joy!
