Updating this set of Cartethyia Cosplay photos. The blue and white gradient of the costume, along with the silver-gray shoulder armor and arm guards, have a wonderful texture. Paired with the unicorn elements on the head and elven ears, the overall look easily stands out in front of the lens. This time, I specially found a scene with high arched windows and white Roman pillars. The pure white space, combined with the mist on the platform and drifting feathers, perfectly echoes the character's inherent coldness and holiness.
During the shoot, the most energy-consuming part was the longsword prop. The sword blade comes with its own blue light effect, but because the light effect is too bright, we had to be very careful to control the reflection points during lighting setup to avoid overexposure. A few low-angle shots highlight the weapon's sense of oppression and the character's posture, while the composition of sitting on a high-back chair aims to express her aura as a knight commander or ruler. The flowing blonde hair and dancing white feathers add dynamism to the frame, avoiding stiff standing poses.
As a new attempt, I tried my best to use postures like wielding the sword with one hand or resting one hand on the back of the chair in the pose design, giving the skirt hem and shawl a natural dynamic drape and lift. The tailoring of this outfit features a moderate amount of skin exposure, and the metallic details and straps are neatly finished, so movement was not too restricted. Post-processing primarily involved minor adjustments to the feathered edges and the layers of mist, blending the blue of the costume with the white environmental colors. I hope everyone enjoys this Anime-style photography work.
