The theme of this shoot revolves around the character's life in EMIYA Family's Meal, so we specially chose a retro Western-style diner with green leather booths and warm yellow lighting to set the mood. To emphasize the character's foodie traits, we ordered deeply satisfying dishes like omurice, fried cutlets, and pink sparkling soda. For hair and makeup, to capture Altria's signature look from Fate, the wig was meticulously trimmed and styled, with internal support added to the iconic ahoge to ensure its distinct curve remained intact no matter how I turned my head. The base makeup was kept light and translucent, focusing on deep green contact lenses and subtly highlighted aegyo sal to give the eyes that regal yet crystal-clear Heroic Spirit gaze. The outfit was a crisp white shirt paired with a dark blue bow tie, freshly ironed for a clean, sharp look that matched the diner setting wonderfully.

The shooting process was remarkably relaxed; instead of stiff, posed framing, most of the time was spent genuinely eating. Scooping up omurice with a fork or putting my hands together before the plate of cutlets were classic poses faithfully recreating vivid moments from the series. Snapping a peace sign selfie with a yellow smartphone in the middle was an improvised touch, making the character feel even more vibrant and down-to-earth, much like an ordinary high school girl. The photographer constantly adjusted angles from low to high; every candid capture required me to snap into character while maintaining proper table manners. To preserve that dignified maidenly charm, I couldn't just wolf down the food, but had to savor each bite at a measured, slightly modest pace.

Because the makeup was detailed and I was consuming substantial portions of fried cutlets and carbs, I was stuffed by wrap time. Seeing the vivid presence of the Heroic Spirit in the final photos made the rich texture of natural ambient lighting completely worth it. Compared to hardcore combat gear, I genuinely adore this grounded, lived-in feel—it makes the character feel like a living, breathing person rather than just a cold fictional archetype. The little orange tiger plush also added so much charm, making me feel as if I were genuinely seated at that warm, bustling dinner table. During shooting, we also minded the impact of warm diner lights on skin translucency, and post-processing preserved natural skin textures without excessive airbrushing. To capture that regal elegance, I adjusted the ahoge on the wig five or six times, since even a slight tilt would alter the entire vibe. The bow tie was carefully pressed flat, as wrinkles on a white shirt can look untidy on camera. We kept the air conditioning cool to avoid sweating. Going from omurice to cutlets and sparkling soda was filling, but I ate everything to maintain that genuine foodie enthusiasm for the lens. While the dishes didn't literally glow like in the anime, the warm amber glow and vintage furniture brought the cozy atmosphere to life. Having explored various cosplay genres, this slice-of-life Food exploration experience was refreshing—physically easier than dynamic battle choreography, yet demanding much finer control over posture and micro-expressions. Huge thanks to the photographer for patiently finding angles to deliver such atmospheric Anime-style photography. I hope everyone enjoys this lively, relatable take on Altria.
