This shoot was set in a traditional Chinese garden featuring bluestone paths surrounded by staggered Taihu rockeries and dense clusters of lush green bamboo. This natural scenery aligned seamlessly with the character's Chinese-style cosplay attributes, requiring no complex lighting setups and relying on natural light to capture wonderful translucency. During the shoot, the photographer guided me through various seated and standing poses—sometimes rotating the umbrella canopy to let sunlight filter through, or perching comfortably on the bluestone steps to evoke a relaxed, conversational ease. Although balancing postures while holding both the prop and umbrella took conscious effort, the overall shoot went smoothly, with the garden's rockeries and bamboo complementing the palette without overpowering the subject. Bringing this signature hero from Honor of Kings to life met all my expectations, faithfully capturing many envisioned details on camera in a truly thoughtful visual record of Anime-style photography.
