This Firefly JK look is truly one of my personal favorites. While shooting this outfit, I was thinking about how to balance Firefly's playful yet somewhat mysterious temperament. After all, Firefly's unpredictable nature in Honkai: Star Rail has a very special 'contrast cuteness' when wearing a JK uniform. To restore this 'Blue Hour', we put a lot of thought into selecting the location. Choosing this riverside area at dusk, utilizing the natural light's gradual dimming, combined with post-production color grading, allowed the whole picture to be immersed in a deep blue tone. The texture of light and shadow is crucial for this set of photos; we needed to ensure that the pleats and fabric of the uniform were clearly visible while creating a dreamy and slightly distant atmosphere. I also carefully selected the JK style accessories, from the hairband to the skirt's texture, every detail was to pursue high fidelity. Actually, during the shooting process, the character Firefly requires many changes in expression; I kept trying to capture her agile and even slightly cunning movements. The moment the finished photos came out, I felt that all the hard work was worth it. This is not just a simple cosplay; it is more like using the lens to construct a flowing fantasy space belonging to Firefly under the Blue Hour in a Riverside location.
