This JK uniform paired with black over-the-knee socks (black stockings) captured a truly distinctive vibe beneath Jiangmen's neon nightscape. For camera gear, we utilized the Sony A7R III paired with the 24mm GM and 85mm GM lenses. The wide aperture of the 85mm GM was ideal for close-up portraits, cleanly isolating the subject from the shimmering background bokeh, while the 24mm GM excelled at framing the environment—particularly the shot leaning over the pink sports car, delivering striking visual dynamism.

With the character's signature high ponytail silver-white hair and black-and-red sailor suit, I deliberately selected a street night-market backdrop lined with traditional red lanterns and traditional Chinese signboards, creating a compelling contrast between vintage flair and modern cyberpunk aesthetics. The pink sports car's bold color popped vibrantly under the streetlights; we all agreed the second photo had the best composition—standing slightly right of center and leaning against the car door, showcasing the pairing of black stockings and shoes with sleek, smooth silhouettes, making it the clear choice for the cover.

The phone booth sequence had an intensely cinematic mood. Gazing at the lens through the glass, playing with surface reflections and cool-toned interior illumination while gripping the retro green telephone receiver, the emotional resonance felt spot-on. Meanwhile, the casual shots eating fast food roadside and gazing at street signs conveyed an everyday urban outing state. The trickiest part was navigating the chaotic nighttime lighting, which took time to calibrate reflector angles, but the final frames turned out remarkably crisp and clean.

Jiangmen's nocturnal streets are deeply atmospheric, where vibrant illuminated signage and crosswalks make fantastic backdrops for night photography. Bringing together details like black stockings, tall boots, and the red neck bow against the silver hair created a sharp, defined silhouette. I hope everyone enjoys this aesthetic of a detached, cool urban night-walker.
