This time, I shot a set of convention photos for Liino from Arknights: Endfield right at the event venue. Recreating this outfit took considerable pre-production preparation. The attire is built around a blue-and-white color scheme: white sailor-collar lapels and puff sleeves paired with a deep blue base and pleated miniskirt, featuring black '00' digits and lettering printed along the sleeves. For the wig, I chose peach-pink long curly hair, matched with a headband featuring black horn-like accents and navy bows to stay as faithful as possible to the official artwork. For makeup, purple contact lenses were chosen to heighten the anime aesthetic, with eye styling adjusted accordingly. The prop microphone in hand featured a purple-and-silver star-shaped design encrusted with rhinestone glitter and centered around an amber circular crest. An arched purple crossbody bag hung at my side, paired with blue-purple platform shoes and over-the-knee Black stockings. The shooting location was right beside the convention stage, with towering stage screens in the background and massive speakers stacked all around. Sitting atop the speaker cabinets or reaching toward the lens, I explored different poses to match the live stage ambiance. Stage lights washing over me combined with the radiant backdrop screens to create an electrifying sense of live presence. For this kind of stage-oriented cosplay, the secret lies in harmonizing body language with props, while maintaining a piercing, assertive gaze rather than looking too soft. The addition of Black stockings introduced a unique visual edge to the bold anime aesthetic. The shoot progressed seamlessly; the photographer's mastery of light and shadow captured deeply satisfying frames in this space. I hope to come across such an authentically matched stage environment again as I continue tackling characters of diverse styles.
