This photoshoot features Ryuge Kisaki's bunny girl outfit from Blue Archive. Shot inside a cyber-casino studio, the glossy black patent leather bodysuit paired with a pure white bow tie and detached sleeves are aspects of this design I truly adore. The wig chosen was a deep blue close to the original character, and the black bunny ears headpiece topped with detailed butterfly patterns and crescent silver ornaments added rich layers.
The set design suited the character wonderfully. A green TEXAS HOLD'EM poker table, neatly arranged blue and green chips, and a bottle of aged liquor served as the centerpiece of the frame. Holding a playing card casually picked from the table in one hand and small-denomination paper notes in the other, I aimed to create a relaxed feel of interacting during a poker game. In the second photo, I switched to a martini glass; the delicate glass texture formed a subtle material contrast against the tough patent leather, and the light reflecting through the bottom of the glass onto my hand details was very interesting.
Regarding shooting techniques and final photo impressions: the photographer's lighting deliberately highlighted the reflective texture of the patent leather costume, making the entire garment shimmer like sparkling water under neon lights. Under such high-reflectivity, tight-fitting attire, adjusting postures was especially crucial—balancing the curves' allure and the extension of stockings while preserving the character's innate personality traits. I chose a high-slit seated pose with one knee bent, which elongated leg lines in front of the lens as much as possible while ensuring the high heels and red sole details weren't obscured. The sheer texture of the black stockings combined with the cool-toned environment allowed my makeup and posture to become the visual focus.
Interacting with props was also a key shooting focus. Although it is a bunny girl outfit, it doesn't feel purely cute, but carries an added calm composure and ease. Slightly lowering my gaze toward the camera while holding the martini glass, or tilting my head while holding up a playing card, both conveyed a confident sense of relaxation. The strands of blue hair were styled with subtle flyaways to avoid looking rigid from being overly neat.
This shoot was actually quite a test of controlling rigid postures. Although patent leather looks striking, its breathability is poor; combined with spotlights and ambient studio lighting, we shot continuously for over an hour. However, seeing how the deep blue-black tones and neon cyan lines merged seamlessly in the final photos made all the physical effort completely worth it. Maintaining such pronounced poses in black stockings and high heels required core strength support, serving as a fun little challenge during the shoot. Desktop detail arrangements—such as liquor bottle labels and scattered chips—also added narrative depth to the entire photo set.
