This shoot of Mai Xiaowen's "Ink Cloud Map" skin turned out really atmospheric, restoring the details from the game as much as possible from costumes to props. The white hair and black mask are iconic elements, and with the tactical vest and firearms, the character's temperament felt right instantly. This time, an abandoned building was specially selected as the shooting location. The mottled walls and shattered window frames, paired with overcast lighting, fit perfectly with that doomsday wasteland or secret operation vibe. During the shoot, we experimented with different camera positions, such as shooting inside from a broken window, or utilizing the depth of the corridor to create perspective. In post-processing, the highlights were lowered slightly to emphasize shadow details, giving the frame a more cinematic feel. Actually, cosplay is not just about dressing alike, but more about using the environment to tell a story. This set of photos wonderfully conveys the character's state of sneaking through the ruins. I hope everyone can feel the aesthetics of this tactical style during this Cosplay photography session.
