[Phrolova cosplay] The Dark Night Dancer in Wuthering Waves, the Spider Lily in the Cave

### Industrial Gothic Setting

This shoot was set in a dark space filled with an industrial feel and a mysterious aura. The circular spotlight from above shone down, perfectly creating a dim atmosphere with a touch of storytelling. In the original setting, Phrolova's red-and-white color scheme is highly distinctive, especially the huge bow on her chest and the cascading red ribbons, which look exceptionally eye-catching under the cool-toned lighting. To recreate that lightweight yet sharp visual effect, I experimented with poses many times. For instance, when holding up the spider lily prop with one hand, I had to pay close attention to the extension of my arm and the dynamic flow of the ribbons to avoid looking stiff.

### Spatial Composition & Intricate Details

The photographer @Cazy has an incredible mastery of composition, intentionally utilizing the large metal structures on-site and suspended picture frames as the foreground and background. This gave the frame a powerful sense of spatial layering, preventing it from looking thin due to an empty background. The wig is a light mint color, braided into a thick plait resting by my side; the texture and sheen of the hair strands were beautifully preserved after minor post-processing adjustments. Honestly, the costume has an immense number of details—such as the puff sleeves at the cuffs, the leather buckles at the waist, and the red straps on the arms. Every single part required repeated tightness adjustments while putting it on to ensure nothing shifted even during large movements.

### Character Temperament & Gaze

What I'm most satisfied with in this shoot is capturing the gaze—no overly exaggerated expressions, but rather a slightly tilted, somewhat alienated look to fit the character's temperament. The natural integration of the red and black color tones with the dark environment keeps the overall palette harmonious amid contrast.
