Bringing Cinderella - Crystal Princess from Goddess of Victory: Nikke to life involved meticulous planning from concept to execution. What resonated most about this design was its cool, opulent glass-like translucency. To honor the character's canonical aesthetic, I chose a light-purple wig crowned with a crystal tiara. The bodice featured white lace beneath semi-sheer azure tulle, where cascading ruffled folds filtered light with stunning luminosity, while the corseted waist demanded strict posture control throughout the session.
We staged the shoot in a white-and-blue indoor set furnished with plush rugs, white folding screens, and faux blossoms to complement her pure, otherworldly detachment. Photographer Niu Niu shot on a Fujifilm X-S10 with a 27mm f/1.2 lens; the wide aperture created creamy bokeh, softly blurring the floral and screen elements into an ethereal haze. Posing in high heels highlighted the Crystal gown and extended leg lines, requiring conscious muscle tension and pointed toes. For close-ups seated with a teacup, gentle eye expressions conveyed serene tenderness, while arms-crossed poses demanded shedding all smiles to project icy nobility.
Capturing Cinderella was physically demanding—from sweltering summer temperatures in layered sleeves to securing the tiara—yet the core goal was embodying her dazzling brilliance without appearing overly fragile. Post-processing leaned toward high-key, low-contrast cool tones, preserving porcelain skin texture while elevating the specular highlights on the gown to evoke crystalline glass. It was a deeply rewarding Cosplay photography project that truly brought this Dreamy photoshoot to life.
