Although I don't consider this a traditional cosplay in the strictest sense, the outfit carries clear ties to festive wealth iconography, and since it fit surprisingly well, I treated it as an unconventional themed creation.
The garment is a red modified Chinese-style dress crafted from fabric sprinkled with subtle golden floral motifs and framed with yellow piped edges. Because the outfit's crimson was so vibrant, a large white backdrop anchored focus squarely on the subject, while overhead illumination brought out the texture of the White stockings and shoes without blowing out the reds.
