This shoot finally brought Shimoe Koharu's bride cosplay from Blue Archive to life, taking over half a month from preparation to final photos. Looking at the photos, people might think it's just posing a few times in front of the piano, but in reality, both the preliminary preparation and post-processing adjustments were extremely tedious. Just that pink-and-white gradient wig needed to be styled in advance, and the dark blue wing hair accessories and the pink curved halo had to be fixed on it. Because the curvature of the halo is relatively large, it easily slipped down along with movements during the shoot. Every few sets of shots, I had to ask the makeup artist to help re-clip several hairpins to maintain that slight sense of levitation.

In terms of clothing, this bride cosplay is mainly based on white, accented with a large number of pink ribbons and flowers. The neck features a dark blue patterned choker, and there are dark blue wing accessories on the back. The lower body is paired with white stockings. To match the dreamy feel of the bride, I specially switched to pink-toned contact lenses and swept a reddish-pink eyeshadow under my eyes, hoping to make the overall style appear softer.

Scene arrangement was the highlight of this shoot. The background featured a pink wall with white hollow-carved patterns, next to which a black piano was placed. The surroundings were filled with pink and white lily-like flowers, and the floor was covered with a very thick layer of white sheer fabric. Because the floor was treated with a reflective finish and I needed to sit on the piano bench, the photographer adjusted the lighting angles several times specifically to avoid overexposing the white stockings in the floor reflections. When shooting the first set of actions, I sat sideways on the piano bench with crossed legs and my right index finger placed near my lips. This posture required keeping the core constantly engaged, and after a long time, my waist and legs felt a bit stiff. Later, switching to the second set of actions, leaning forward slightly with hands crossed on thighs and looking straight into the lens, this set, combined with the visual effect of the white stockings, made the line sense even more prominent.

Frankly speaking, wearing a dress with bride elements paired with white stockings and sitting for a long time actually has a sense of oppression, especially the tightness at the edge of the stockings being quite obvious. However, for the smoothness of the leg lines in the final photos and the completeness of the overall styling, these challenges were entirely surmountable. During shooting breaks, I relaxed my shoulders and neck slightly on the piano bench, while taking the opportunity to experience Koharu's usual earnest yet slightly reserved state. The bride theme matched with piano props added a touch of quietness and romance to the entire atmosphere, creating a wonderful piano aesthetic. In post-processing, the transparency of pink and white was slightly enhanced in terms of color to make the image look cleaner. Although the overall set arrangement was complex, being able to present such a set of photos in the end made me feel that all the energy invested was well rewarded.
