This outdoor location was chosen in a park setting featuring red wooden pillars and traditional courtyards, wearing a modified Shrine maiden style ensemble from Malymoon. The outfit follows a pink-and-white color scheme: the top features a cropped midriff-baring cut accented with silver tassels across the chest, paired with wide bell sleeves adorned with generous ruffles along the hem. The bottom is styled with a tiered ruffle mini-skirt trimmed with lace edging and finished with a heart-shaped white pocket on the front. Topping the look is a maid-style headband with pink bows, complemented by long straight black Twintails—blending the classical aura of a Shrine maiden with sweet, adorable accents.
The weather on shooting day was lovely, with sunlight filtering through tree leaves onto gray roof tiles and crimson architecture. For the first shot, I chose a standing pose with hands on hips, fully displaying the waistline and overall proportions, with the midriff-baring design looking exceptionally crisp on camera. In the second shot, I encountered a tabby cat by the pathway; crouching down, I extended a hand to play with it as it lay comfortably relaxed on the ground, capturing that candid moment. Crouching on stone pavement while wearing White stockings required maintaining physical balance while keeping the skirt hem and sleeves fanning out naturally, demanding a bit of core strength. For the third photo, I tried pointing toward the lens to bring out a playful charm.
Speaking of garment details, what attracted me most were those layered ruffles, which swayed with lively motion as I walked. Although the multi-layered skirt felt slightly warm outdoors, the resulting photos made it completely worthwhile. Pairing White stockings with white shoes also beautifully echoed the overall pink-and-white color palette. I kept my poses as natural as possible during the shoot, as the elaborate design of the clothing did not require overly complex staging. The cat wandering into the frame added an extra touch of lifelike warmth. The entire shoot was relaxing and fun—nothing beats wearing an outfit you love in a lush, green courtyard while petting a friendly cat. It was a truly special outdoor cosplay experience, effortlessly carrying the visual composition through the costume's rich details and the atmospheric setting without needing heavy props.
