This time, I tried a cat cosplay anthropomorphism look leaning towards a casual, relaxed style. The overall look uses a loose, creamy yellow hoodie paired with a matching wig and animal ears, maintaining a visually unified and soft tone. For the makeup, I intentionally softened the eyeliner and used warm orange eyeshadow as a base, combined with naturally enlarging colored contact lenses and a more orange-toned lipstick to stay close to that soft yet clever quality of a cat. The reddish-brown bell accessory on the collar is the finishing touch, breaking the monotony of the solid color scheme and adding a playful sense of layering.
During the shoot, using soft light and translucent white curtains as a background helped create a soft, diffuse reflection lighting effect, making the transition between skin tone and clothing texture more natural. This kind of casual cosplay that doesn't require complex armor or special effects actually tests your grasp of the character's temperament more. For instance, the range of motion when adjusting the animal ears on top of your head, as well as the interaction between your gaze and the lens, all need to be done in a relaxed state to convey a lazy yet close feeling. In post-processing, I mainly adjusted the white balance and skin translucency, trying my best to preserve the soft texture of the hoodie fabric without over-sharpening, keeping a creamy quality for the overall frame. This set of photos perfectly responds to the theme in the post, presenting a relaxed home atmosphere under mild light, serving as a bit of shooting reference and inspiration for character sheets of an animal-eared girl.
