[Rossi Cosplay] Spotted at Hypergryph Carnival: Arknights: Endfield Big-Tailed Girl Reporting!

For this August 1st Hypergryph Carnival, I chose to hit the event in this Rossi cosplay from Arknights: Endfield. The overall look blends tactical techwear style with cute elements; pairing the big bushy tail with the red cape gave high visibility while walking around the venue.

Preparing this gear before leaving took quite a bit of time. To fit the character's blonde hair and animal-eared girl setup, I gave the wig a layered trim, adjusting the fluffy animal ear frames to sit snugly along my hairband line so they wouldn't look out of place. Paired with a white top bordered in black and a complex corset, wearing the waist straps and interlaced metal buckles was quite intricate, requiring fine-tuning tightness on all sides to highlight the waistline comfortably.

The white skirt and hanging pink ribbons on the lower half added to the overall flowy feel, though the soul of this outfit remains that fluffy big tail. Although I had to keep an eye on protecting it in the crowded venue, it was hugely popular among fellow fans. The black platform boots paired with white thigh-high socks neatened leg lines nicely. Silver decorative stripes lined the side of the boots, which, paired with a black-and-red contrast platform sole, raised my center of gravity for a more upright posture while walking. Lace ruffles along the sock edges peaked slightly out of the boot tops, preserving a playful maiden lightness.

While taking these mirror selfies, I specifically held the black-and-red weapon prop to evoke the character's aura. Holding the weapon horizontally or raising it in Photo 3, paired with the hooded cape, brought out that battle tension. This costume has many accessories—black fingerless gloves, arm guards, and the blade behind my back—requiring careful angle adjustments in front of the mirror to show props completely. Especially the one-legged lifted pose in Photo 2 heavily tested body balance and the boots' anti-slip grip.

I was quite satisfied with today's overall makeup and costume styling. Although doing makeup and gearing up from morning took up most of the day—including making sure the cape didn't snag on the weapon—walking through the hall wrapped in layered clothing and accessories helped me truly immerse into the character. The overall look preserved enough comfort for moving around freely at the convention. Bringing Rossi to an offline event and immersively experiencing the character's vibe made for a great photoshoot experience, making all the gear preparations completely worthwhile.
