[Angelina Cosplay] Returning from Hypergryph Carnival, Rhodes Island's Messenger is Ready

I decided to wrap up my itinerary at Hypergryph Carnival with this Angelina cosplay photo set. The overall character visual tone centers on lightness and light-green shades, so tone matching across the wig, headwear, and outfit needed to stay consistent. The pale green hairband paired with large plush animal ears forms the most recognizable part of this look; the ear fluff texture underwent gradient dyeing, where dark-to-light transitions appear more realistic on camera. The hair features brownish long curls; to contrast with the hairband color, I ultimately chose a warm chestnut tone. For styling, the bangs were layered into straight bangs with subtly curled edges, while side curls were set using a large curling iron, giving the hair lines a fluffy, smooth flow in both close-up portraits and full-body shots.

For eye makeup, I wore red-based contact lenses paired with warm reddish-orange eyeshadows to echo the red irises, while emphasizing curled eyelashes to give the eye makeup extra radiance. For base makeup, since convention lighting at the carnival was complex, I deliberately reinforced concealer and matte setting powder to maintain a clean, luminous face under indoor soft lights. Peach-toned blush was selected alongside slightly glossy lip glaze, presenting a natural and friendly demeanor.

For costume pairings, I selected an off-white collared shirt with a pale green bow tied at the neck, establishing a well-coordinated harmony with small accessories in detail. The bottom consists of brown high-waisted shorts with a black belt, accented by side leg tassels. I intentionally added pale green thigh strap bands, which not only resonate in color with the headwear and collar but also enhance overall outfit layering. Paired with white mid-calf socks and brown lace-up mid-calf boots, the look reaches full completion. Anti-slip tread patterns on the boot soles and lace-up designs preserve the light outdoor feel from the original design.

Regarding shooting props and frame composition, I happened to utilize merchandise brought back from the carnival. A round, adorable white cartoon plush toy felt very comfortable to hold, its fluffy texture ideal for sideways model interactions. Yellow plastic bags and large white carnival merch paper bags placed nearby nicely supplemented background colors, preventing shots from feeling empty. During shooting, to display various styling angles, we took both full-body mirror selfies and close-up headshots. Full-body photos mainly showcased lower-body thigh straps, shorts, and boot wearing proportions, while close-ups captured animal ears, hairband, and expressions for an authentic Animal-eared girl aesthetic. The photo lighting was kept gentle; light-colored indoor curtains and wooden flooring as backgrounds allowed the subject to stand out prominently without chaotic background distractions.

Looking back at this photo set now, character accuracy from outfit to makeup met expectations. Angelina's character disposition leans lively and bright, so displaying a confident and relaxed posture before the lens best fits her personality. The entire carnival experience was wonderful—beyond popular booths and exhibition stands, meeting many fans who share a love for Arknights created a pure atmosphere. Bringing this outfit live to the venue and documenting it serves as a fulfilling conclusion to this offline event, inspiring even greater anticipation for my next Casual cosplay creations.
