Wearing this modified white cheongsam to the convention venue, the biggest impression was that this outfit found a delicate balance between gentleness and sharpness. Speaking of fabric, the outfit overall utilizes a silver-white material with subtle jacquard weave, featuring an understated yet refined luster. The collar retains a traditional mandarin collar and black piping, but the chest cleverly incorporates clover-shaped hollow-outs and black buckle ornaments, adding a touch of playfulness to the dignified look. Fan-shaped hollows on both sides of the waist with black edging outline petal shapes, breaking up the plainness of large white areas. Layered ruffle fluttering sleeves on the shoulders not only add visual dimension, but also make the shoulder profile appear erect and structured. The skirt features a short pleated patchwork cut, adorned with exquisite hand-stitched silver-gray floral embroidery below, which, paired with pure white over-the-knee stockings, visually elongates leg proportions.

The pairing of hair accessories and props serves as the soul of this look. To complement the overall anime feel, I selected a light golden twin-tail wig with heavy adornments on both sides. White plush pom-poms paired with black lace trim, along with bows and long pure white tassels, create a lovely dynamic motion when walking. To align with the mood of \"concealed sharpness,\" the weapon in hand was specifically chosen as a long sword wrapped with white hilt tape. The sword guard features a circular wheel-cut cross design, while the blade was given a matte finish to prevent harsh reflections under strong lighting. When holding the sword or gripping the hilt, hand postures and pressure points required careful consideration to convey power and aggressiveness without looking stiff. I tried several poses including holding the sword single-handed, gripping with both hands, and holding the blade horizontally across the chest, hoping to fuse the character's combat aura with the gentleness of the outfit.

The shooting environment at this anime convention was quite interesting, offering both indoor booth areas and an outdoor open-air plaza. The indoor setting leaned warm with complex lighting, which actually highlighted the outfit's subtle jacquard details and the pink blush on my cheeks, making the overall look appear cuter and softer. Conversely, the outdoor overcast natural light was very even; I particularly liked the wide-angle outdoor framing in Picture 1, standing by the railing with a slight side profile while holding the weapon—that cold, guarded atmosphere fitted the theme perfectly. Truth be told, when outdoor winds blew hard, those tassels and hair ornaments floated constantly, requiring the photographer to click the shutter extremely quickly to capture dynamic moments. Moreover, handling weapons for poses required extra safety awareness, especially positions tucked at the waist or across the front, needing clear communication with the photographer regarding perspective angles.

Regarding makeup, I specifically emphasized a red-toned atmosphere around the eye sockets, sweeping warm pink blush broadly under the eyes and across both cheekbones, paired with reddish lip color to reinforce a slightly tipsy, doll-like vulnerability. For eye makeup, light grey-blue contact lenses were chosen to balance out the sweetness of the pink-red tones. Overall, this Anime-style makeup and styling didn't forcefully pursue fierce killer intent, but rather presented a contrasting nuance where a hint of dangerous aura hides beneath a cute exterior. Walking around the exhibition area carrying the weapon, I was frequently stopped by passing photography enthusiasts; some fellow fans even recognized the detailed costume settings at a glance, making all the preparation work feel deeply rewarding.

This outfit combines Chinese-style cosplay elements with many anime representation techniques on a modified traditional foundation. Although it looks lightweight, keeping it neat and structured all day requires fixing many small details. From hair clips to glove buttons and skirt layering, everything needed repeated verification before stepping onto the floor. When facing the camera, beyond facial expression control, hand positions relative to weapon props, leg stances, and eye focus points were all factors needing real-time adjustment on site. Overall, this was a deeply immersive roleplay experience—white represents purity and noble composure, while encompassing a subtly concealed sharpness.
