Nakamachi Arale's stage costume has a very strong visual impact. First, from the perspective of wig contour shaping, the golden twin-tails styling requires volumizing treatment at the roots, with a slight cyan-green gradient highlight at the tips. This color transition needs to be gently combed out with a teasing comb to avoid tangling. The cat-ear headband on top and the colorful clips on the side—like the pink clip with a smiley face—should be clipped at a slight angle rather than too rigidly, in order to restore the character's liveliness. In terms of makeup, red eyes paired with a large area of pink-orange blush are the key. The eye makeup lines should be clean and sharp, and the lips should use a glossy texture lip tint to add a touch of dynamic feel. The pink-yellow megaphone prop held in hand can serve as a gaze-guiding fulcrum during shooting; slightly lifting the chin and looking directly at the lens can increase the image tension.

Regarding the full outfit coordination, the upper body is a white sleeveless high-collar design, with the collar surrounded by black and silver reflective material trim. I found that this laser material presents rainbow colors from different angles in natural light, while leaning more towards cool tones under indoor lighting. The black tie and yellow V-shaped decoration at the chest are the visual focus, and the buttons also chose colorful styles. The skirt is a bright yellow pleated short skirt, printed with pink wave lines and blue geometric color blocks on the skirt surface, with the bottom layer being laser-textured pleated lace. For anime cosplay, such multi-layered clothing is easily messed up when posing, so I pre-secured the inner layer with clips to ensure the skirt hem maintains a natural fluffiness during the shooting process.

What satisfied me the most is actually the sock combination: the left leg is pure white over-the-knee stockings, while the right leg is a pink calf sock paired with bright yellow slouch socks. This asymmetrical design visually breaks the dullness of symmetry while modifying the leg shape nicely. Paired with white thick-soled sneakers, the overall proportions look more slender. When shooting full-body photos, a mirror selfie is a great choice. Place the phone at a position slightly below the chest and tuck the chin slightly. Extend one leg forward slightly and put the weight on the back foot; this can showcase the arc of the pleated skirt and the layers of the leg warmers. The base makeup needs to remain matte, because reflections under strong light can easily ruin the overall texture. The eyebrow color is best a shade lighter than the hair color, adjusted with eyebrow tinting gel so that the overall makeup looks more harmonious.

In terms of lighting, try to use soft light and avoid overly harsh direct light, because reflective materials easily overexpose under direct light and lose details. During post-processing adjustments, slightly boosting the saturation of bright yellow and bright pink, and slightly lowering the contrast for cool tones, can make the colors of the overall picture more harmonious. Although the colors of this styling are very complex, through the neutralization of the black tie and white top, the picture does not appear overly flashy, but instead presents a strong stage feel. Throughout the shooting process, the holding posture of the props and the body angles are very important; the megaphone should not block too much of the face, and slightly turning to the side can showcase the costume's tailoring. For a mirror selfie, the phone's position is best at chest height, using mirror reflection to make slight adjustments to avoid lens distortion. This shoot was mainly to try a brightly colored coordination, and both color control and material mastery test the preliminary preparation. Judging from the results, the combination of laser elements and bright yellow is indeed visually impactful, and the asymmetrical sock design adds more layers to the overall styling. From fitting to adjusting details, a lot of thought went into the whole process, especially the wig styling and the tightness adjustment of the leg warmers. Being able to fully present the beloved character's dress-up is a fun-filled process in itself, and I hope everyone can find a matching style that suits them when trying different styles.
