The commercial photoshoot for the grand opening of TopToy on the 1st floor of Changchun Lvyuan Wuyue Plaza has wrapped up! This time, we featured Xiao Wu cosplay, Lynette Cosplay, and Hu Tao cosplay, focusing primarily on the sweet aesthetic of the blind box series. The overall hair and makeup took a long time; to capture the feel of blind box dolls, pink bunny-ear hair and silvery cat-ear hair were paired with purplish-pink colored contacts to achieve an exquisite finish. To complement the bright, highly saturated yellow main background inside TopToy, we deliberately chose white and pink dresses adorned with expansive lace, tulle, pearls, and ribbons. Xiao Wu's dress featured ribbons and plush elements, while Lynette and Hu Tao's outfits showcased generous amounts of white tulle pleats. Wearing strappy high heels and white leg garters not only matched this sweet aura, but also flattered the leg lines in full-body shots, enhancing the visual tension of the image. Since the shoot required prolonged standing and walking, we had to break in these high heels beforehand to maintain an effortless, composed expression in front of the lens.

When shooting in a store like TopToy, which is packed with figures and bright lighting, one must pay close attention to the store's yellow background and intense overhead lights. Before shooting, it's essential to find the best positioning angles, utilizing the shelf lines as leading lines to ensure the character remains the visual focus of the frame. In addition, during the shoot, interacting with real in-store props—such as plush toys and figure boxes—enhanced the natural feel of the poses. Cosplaying these three characters was a genuinely fun experiment. Because these characters are so iconic, capturing their subtle nuances required a more delicate touch. I used the focus of my eyes and the curve of my lips to convey that unique adorable charm and sweetness typical of blind box dolls. To match this refined style, the makeup was kept matte with precise highlights to ensure facial contours were defined from any angle. At the same time, I paid special attention to maintaining the garment fabrics, as the bright mall environment made keeping every embroidery detail and lace texture neat and smooth a constant priority. When taking duo shots, we also paid close attention to tiered, staggered positioning to avoid blocking each other while maximizing the display of each character's distinctive features. The final outcome felt remarkably clean and crisp, meeting all the standards of commercial display photography.
