Tried this Wuthering Waves style outfit in a blue and white color scheme, taking a few sets of photos today at home using a full-length mirror. For the wig, I selected a bright blue with a slight grayish tone; the hair strands are smooth, but the bangs required self-trimming and styling. The blue feather-like headpiece on top is very exquisite; to position it accurately, I specifically used three U-shaped pins and a bit of hairspray to support it, making it stand up at a three-dimensional upward angle.

The main body of the costume is a white two-piece design. The upper body features light, breathable white fabric with ruffles at the neckline and cuffs. Worth praising is the design around the shoulders and arms—the wrists have white knot-wrapped decorations, which not only add layers but also help secure the sleeves. The lower hem is an asymmetric skirt spliced with blue and white; the fabric overall has a nice drape and doesn't puff up easily.

The most eye-catching part of the entire outfit is definitely the two long blue ribbons reaching down to the floor. They are visually striking, but also very challenging. To make the ribbons present a natural curve in the mirror rather than flat, lifeless lines, I gently steamed them before shooting and added small weights to the ribbon ends to keep them from fluttering chaoticly when walking around the house, preventing the frame from looking too messy.

Today I paired it with white stiletto open-toe sandals and white skin-tone stockings. This stocking outfit and heels combination might feel a bit dramatic for daily wear, but it appears very harmonious when matched with this anime-style fashion, completing the overall blue and white key tone. The roughly 7-cm heel height perfectly elongates the calf line, and the lace-up design of the shoes visually flatters the ankles.

The shooting location chosen was the long full-length floor mirror facing the kitchen at home. In the afternoon, two to three hours offer abundant light as sunshine pours through the windows directly onto the floor, casting a clear boundary between light and shadow. This warm-toned natural light suits blue-and-white photos like these without making skin look yellow. I feel the standing angle in the first picture works best because it clearly reveals the full costume layout, with the long ribbons falling naturally on the wooden floor, balancing the visual gravity nicely alongside the foreground light and shadows.

The second and third photos were composed sitting on a nearby white office chair. The matching tone of the white chair and white cabinet slightly softened the waist outline, but the sitting posture better highlights the stockings and shoes, giving the blue ribbons' extension an elegant drape. Whether sitting or standing, constant attention was needed to prevent the ribbons from blocking the feet.

In reality, complex cosplay costumes like this easily encounter little hiccups during everyday home shoots. For example, the wig shifts when tilting the head up or down, the shoulder mesh easily snags on hands or arm accessories, and even floor dust easily clings to the long trailing ribbons. So before producing final images, I repeatedly fine-tuned in the mirror nearly twenty times to select these few photos with relatively satisfying angles, poses, and outfit states.

Additionally, for makeup, I used a natural and translucent base, highlighting the layers of eyeshadow and lip color, hoping to complement the fresh temperament of this blue and white outfit. Today I mainly wanted to record how this costume performs in a daily living scene. Although it was just a simple mirror selfie, a lot of thought went into organizing costume details. Post-processing mostly involved basic light and shadow adjustments, preserving skin texture and natural hair color.
