Let's talk about this Jinhsi photoshoot. Choosing to shoot at the ancient pavilion in the evening was because the wooden structure and warm lights here fit the character's own cool temperament perfectly. A lot of effort went into the tailoring and details of this costume, especially the curved shape of the shoulder armor and the spliced fabric at the cuffs, which have a high level of recreation compared to the in-game model. White wigs have always been prone to overexposure or looking stiff in complex lighting environments, but the photographer perfectly preserved the layered feel of the hair strands through proper arrangement of the light sources. During the shoot, I deliberately used the handrails and wooden pillars of the ancient pavilion as the foreground and support points. This not only enriched the composition but also made the originally static standing posture more natural and vivid. When holding the white-scabbard long sword, I would unconsciously straighten my back, attempting to capture Jinhsi's pride and composure of standing detached from the world. I really like the sense of focus in this character's eyes, so during the shoot, the expression in my eyes was also a key part I contemplated, striving to make the look not just blankly beautiful, but carrying a certain emotional undertone. The makeup design also complemented the cool tones of the wig and costume; the eyeshadow blending was not heavy, with the focus being on enhancing the face's three-dimensional look. The post-processing photography was quite precise in terms of color control, preserving the scene's own night blue tones while giving the character's skin texture a subtle translucency. This set of photos strove for restraint in post-processing, avoiding excessive filters and instead choosing to preserve the wooden textures and the deep blue of the night, making the integration of the character and environment more authentic for a high-quality night portrait. The depth of the corridor and the bamboo shadows of the exterior added a bit of a martial arts story atmosphere to the frames. Every press of the shutter was a deep dialogue with the character. As the light dimmed, the difficulty of the shoot actually increased. Fortunately, everyone cooperated seamlessly, and the final photos were a wonderful surprise for an Anime cosplay and Traditional style cosplay project.
