This Yvonne cosplay set was shot before the open beta, and looking back now, the location we scouted matches the workbench in the story exceptionally well.

Looking back at these photos once again, the atmospheric mood from that shooting day still feels remarkably intense. To create that Cyberpunk server room aesthetic, we gathered numerous vintage electronic devices. Heavy CRT monitors, intricate web-like cables, and pink-purple neon lighting brought out an authentic hardcore atmosphere.

Controlling the lighting was actually rather tricky. Because the background was entirely illuminated by glowing neon tubes, improper control would cause the bright lights to wash out the background and flatten the facial features. Therefore, we spent considerable effort on lighting placement—using soft key light to illuminate facial contours while casting clean rim lights along the edges of the silhouette. This allowed the pink-purple glow to create a gorgeous spill around the subject, making the character pop from the background while preserving that high-tech Sci-fi edge.

Regarding the outfit and props, as a Mechanical style styling, there were truly countless details. The costume incorporated spliced hard-armor materials, which became quite tiring to wear over extended periods. In particular, that iconic mechanical arm not only required angle calibration during wearing, but also posed the constant risk of tangling surrounding cables with larger movements during the shoot. The wig color combination was also stunning—a pink primary base accented with cyan-blue highlights, looking exceptionally eye-catching. During shooting, to convey the character's blend of cool and playful charm, we switched up numerous poses. The shot sitting on the vintage TV used White stockings to visually elongate the legs, accented with mechanical boots to exude both combat readiness and slender leg contours. The standing shot leveraged the midriff-baring design and a raised-arm pose to accentuate body proportions.

When brainstorming the scene backstory at the time, we felt this character's working environment ought to be this sort of slightly cluttered yet profoundly high-tech space. Later, when experiencing the story after the open beta and seeing her in-game presentation, I was amazed at how well the location matched the character's background lore—this hardcore electronic workbench backdrop paired with mechanical arm elements perfectly complemented her in-game aura. Although navigating through scattered wires required walking cautiously on set, seeing the finished photos proved that the essence of a mechanical girl was captured with precision.

Doing cosplay is far more than just recreating garments; the atmospheric ambiance of the environment is an indispensable part of shaping a character. Uniting this Cyberpunk industrial style with the character's presence was a tremendously successful attempt, and looking back on it now still brings back that deep sense of passion and satisfaction.
