This Genshin Impact Navia feature photo set is finally meeting everyone. The shooting location was chosen as Yongxinhui; the European architectural lines, arches, and vintage wall lamps here fit Navia's young lady identity setup exceptionally well. To perfectly recreate this character, a lot of effort was put into the costumes and props during the early stages.
First, let's talk about this outfit: the blue, black, and gold color scheme is classic. The upper body's corset-style design has extremely high demands on pattern and tailoring; to present an upright and crisp effect, I made quite a few adjustments to the inner layers. The golden rows of buttons and embroidery details on the chest look extremely textured in physical form. The lower body features layered skirt hems, with an inner white pleated skirt paired with an outer bright orange fluffy large skirt hem; the irregular fluttering sensation while walking was a key focus during shooting. To match the character's traits, this time I purposely paired it with black stockings featuring dark patterns and high heels with metal accessories, and the bows and metal decorations at the root of the thighs were also accurately restored.
In terms of head styling, that wide-brimmed black fedora is the finishing touch. The blue flowers, golden star accessories, and black feathers on top were repeatedly adjusted in position during production to ensure they were securely fixed without pressing down on the head. The wig was chosen as long golden curls; styling focused on shaping the fluffiness at the hair roots and the curling arc of the hair ends, which, paired with bright blue contact lenses and slightly aggressive eye makeup, aims to showcase Navia's character trait of being both elegant and capable.
The prop this time is a parasol with a strong classical style. Whether it's the magnificence of showing off the internal orange-gold vintage patterns when opened, or the elegance of matching it as a cane when closed, it played an excellent supporting role during the shoot. The weight of the umbrella is moderate, allowing me to control it relatively freely when posing.
On the shooting day, huge thanks to the photographer 龙骧nightfall; he is exceptionally skilled at capturing light and shadow. The indoor lighting was bright, and he made great use of the on-site light, combining a large aperture to blur the background and highlight the color contrast of the character. For example, the action of lifting a leg and holding up the skirt not only showcased the shoe and stocking details, but also made the frame more dynamic; while the standing posture of holding the umbrella with hands on hips highlighted the costume's tailoring and overall aura. From makeup and styling to final presentation, every step of this photo set was carefully deliberated, and I hope everyone can feel this dedication.
