This Sacred Hymn outfit shoot was truly a deeply satisfying experience. During styling and makeup testing, just handling this light blue long wig and hair ornaments took a lot of thought. The distinctive white feather-like decorations on top of the head, paired with the golden twig wreath and manually fixed blue butterfly hair clips, were tested in several arrangements so they could present a light and three-dimensional feel from different angles. To match the character, I chose these bright blue contact lenses; the eye makeup specially emphasized a clear and lively feel, while the lip color was chosen in a softer pink tone, aiming to present an ethereal and dreamy temperament overall. The details of this outfit are especially worth detailing. The upper-body strapless mini dress adopts a multi-layered design; the blue bow on the chest and the golden brooch have great texture, and the edged trimming has a wonderful gloss under the light. What surprised me the most was the material of the skirt hem—the outer layer of semi-transparent blue tulle comes with a subtle laser reflection, creating an ice-blue shimmering look under studio lighting, while the inner-layered spliced white lace trimming adds to the overall gorgeousness. For this look, I wore that pair of huge white feathered wings and paired my hands with white ruffled gloves. The lower body features white stockings, where I designed crossed white straps on the calves, adorned fine golden chain leg rings on the thighs, and stepped into a pair of white high heels. This not only made the leg lines smoother but also added a touch of exquisite combat feel. The scene setup during the shoot greatly helped with emotional immersion. White pillars and carved window lattices resembling a temple or church were built on site, and falling white tulle paired with crystal chandeliers in the background created a very pure atmosphere. The floor was covered with a thick white plush carpet, surrounded by a large cluster of blue-and-white flowers like a sea of blossoms. In such an environment, combined with the camera's resolution, the light and shadow texture captured was exceptionally clear and translucent. Since we shot across multiple sets of poses, I tried my best to match the character's temperament with every posture. The pose in picture one of lying flat and raising a leg was actually meant to showcase the tulle layers and leg details when the skirt spread out; the side-standing looking-back shot was to fully display the wings and the trailing skirt hem behind; and for some actions, I intentionally softened my hand poses to express that elegant yet slightly aloof feeling. We had great synergy with the photographer, trying to capture different light, shadow, and emotions in every single shot. I hope everyone can feel this meticulously crafted texture in this set of photos.
