This studio shoot project revolves around Nahida's Dendro Archon look from Genshin Impact. The costume, makeup, and props all feature a primarily green and white color scheme. The chest area has a dark green base with gold-stamped edges on the leaf patterns, and the bow at the collar as well as the interwoven black and gold accessories on the side of the head have been accurately recreated.

The wig features a grayish-white base layer overlaid with mint green highlights, and the bangs were trimmed in layers suitable for the elf ears. For the fabric selection of the costume, I intentionally avoided overly stiff materials; the main white body utilizes a subtle shimmering twill fabric that has an excellent drape, evoking an ethereal, out-of-this-world feeling.

The circular armbands on my arms not only add to the character's richness but also serve as a great visual accent when posing. The set arrangement for this shoot was also a major highlight; the floral background utilized a large number of white roses, pink roses, and blue hydrangeas, paired with white tulle spread across the floor, fitting Nahida's Dendro element theme perfectly.

Although it was just an indoor studio shoot, the blending of the studio lights and the green atmospheric lighting successfully created a secret garden belonging to a little elf. As I mentioned in the original post, I really hope to have the opportunity to shoot outdoors in a real "flower field" during summer or early autumn. With the gentle breeze fluttering the tulle dress, the skin tone and character accuracy under natural light could be much more vivid than a studio shoot. Nature's light and shadow are unpredictable, and that kind of ethereal agility is hard to completely replicate with artificial light sources.

In terms of pose design, besides the common pose of clasping hands together to show a peaceful demeanor, I also tried some more active physical expressions, such as reaching a hand close to the lens, which enhances the interactivity of the frame. The view-finder gesture made with my hands in the first picture was also combined with green particle special effects in post-processing, hoping to create a visual sense of flowing Dendro elemental energy.

The makeup focus was on emphasizing that gentle and innocent feeling. Light eyeshadow paired with emerald green colored contacts and a natural red bean paste lipstick shade aimed to recreate Nahida's demeanor—both wise and filled with child-like curiosity.

Organizing this set of works made me feel that every dedicated cosplay shoot is a three-dimensional interpretation of a game character. Although a lot of energy went into the makeup, styling, and shooting, seeing the final photo results makes me feel all the effort was worthwhile. During the shooting process, the photographer was excellent at capturing catchlights, making the eyes look much more lively. For post-processing, the fusion of light and shadow was the key. To get closer to the CG texture of the game character, a high-saturation green atmosphere was specially adjusted while preserving the clarity of the face and skin. Throughout the session, there were two or three sets of different frozen moments, including sitting quietly and casting spells with limbs extended. This set of white clothes looked incredibly translucent under the spotlight and didn't appear messy due to wrinkles.
