This time, I shot two different styling options for Violet—one is her casual daily attire paired with a deep blue jacket, and the other is a home nightgown. Although they are of the same character, the temperaments are completely different. The blue jacket outfit utilized mirror reflections to capture a vintage texture, and the emerald brooch at the neckline is genuinely exquisite; paired with the white shirt and gloves, it restores that elegant yet detached look from the original work. The nightgown set is more relaxed, with the blond hair braided to the side, holding an old book while lying on the wooden floor surrounded by flowers, aiming to create a sense of her soft inner side. Soft lighting was specially used during the shoot to make the skin tone look more translucent, and the textures of the blue colored contacts and the wig were carefully adjusted. As a cosplay piece, from the wig trimming to the costume details, I hoped to stay as close to the character as possible in every aspect. This time we experimented with different compositions, and the mirror reflections along with the high-angle overhead shots gave the frames more of a narrative feel. I hope everyone can feel the warmth of this character beyond the letters.
