The outfit's main color scheme features light green and off-white tailored to match the Dendro element. The outer layer is an oversized baseball jacket made of fabric with a subtle luster, maintaining a structured silhouette without sagging. Beneath it is a simple white shirt paired with a mint green bow tie, and a matching light green plaid pleated skirt on the lower half, complemented by white over-the-knee socks—maximizing casual everyday vibes while retaining anime character traits. The skirt length stops right at mid-thigh, and paired with form-fitting white over-the-knee socks, it visually optimizes body proportions, balancing both comfort and aesthetics.
A lot of effort went into the wig, makeup, and styling this time. The wig features a gradient from silver-white to light grass green at the tips, styled with natural curls and generous volume that makes the face look small and fluffy. Softly smudged eye makeup paired with green contacts emphasized natural eyelash texture over heavy eyeliner, aiming to convey a gentle gaze full of lively botanical vitality. The elf ears were custom-made long silicone ears with natural coloring, paired with a green headpiece with gold trimmings so the character is instantly recognizable. The headpiece features an inner clip design that stays securely fixed between hair strands.
The shoot location on the day was a corner of an Anime convention venue. Photographer Xia Shiyi helped lay out a white plush rug for me, utilizing blurred background elements and soft diffuse light to capture a clean, crisp atmosphere. The seated pose in the second photo perfectly showcases the completeness and cute demeanor of the overall Cosplay outfit; hands gathered and looking directly at the camera, it feels more serene than the lively peace sign in the first picture and possesses a stronger sense of central focus, which is why I chose the second photo as the cover image.
Since this outfit was self-coordinated, the overall style leans toward an approachable, everyday JK uniform rather than an overly complex or heavy cosplay costume, which actually highlights the light and natural essence of Genshin Impact's Dendro Archon. Wearing it was remarkably comfortable, allowing free movement, crouching, or kneeling without feeling restricted around the venue. I repeatedly adjusted the tie knot and skirt pleats to ensure every crease looked sharp and crisp in photos. The white over-the-knee socks looked great under indoor lighting, staying smooth without awkward glares.
Overall, translating an anime character into everyday JK uniform style was a bold attempt—retaining iconic elements of Nahida (green-and-white palette, elf ears, floral motifs) while making the outfit highly wearable for everyday outings. Remaining relaxed in front of the lens, paired with the wig's airy lightness and the soft color palette, resulted in a set of photos I'm deeply satisfied with.
