The motivation for this shoot was actually very simple—I just wanted to record my most direct state right after putting on this outfit. Holding the phone directly in front of my face bypassed showing my face, but it preserved the garment's overall silhouette and the character's iconic traits to a great extent. In the photos, the light white pigtails paired with flesh-toned Elf ears props created a surprisingly strong visual impact.

The design details of this outfit are very refined. The hair ornament on the head features a clover-like green pattern that echoes the green geometric lines on the collar and cuffs nicely. The overall color scheme is dominated by white and meadow green, supplemented by small gold accents and brown lining, adding an elegant texture to an otherwise fresh color scheme. The cuffs are designed with wide ruffled edges, which, paired with white short gloves, make the arm lines look even more slender and delicate.

When taking this set of photos, I specially chose a cream-white plush rug as the background to best highlight the light-colored textures of the dress. In the first picture, I wore matching White stockings and shoes with dark green edges; this completeness gives the character a richer sense of depth, and the snug fit of the stockings combined with the leg pose creates a visually balanced look. As for the barefoot look in the second picture, it was a little variation I casually tried during a break between shots. When wearing this elf outfit, being barefoot indeed brings a light, airy feel closer to nature—even if lacking shoes reduces the completeness, it carries a unique charm of its own.

The waist fit of the outfit is very flattering, but because the Elf ears are quite wide and combined with the weight of the pigtails, lying on the blanket while holding a phone actually required some balancing technique. Every time I adjusted my posture, I checked whether the skirt hem and cuffs were creased, as clothing with multi-layered ruffle designs doesn't easily bounce back once pressed for too long. Fortunately, the shot turned out well, with the white and green combination making the whole look very clean.

This close-up composition without showing my face actually concentrated the viewer's gaze more on the outfit and hairstyle. In truth, achieving faithful cosplay reproduction doesn't always require showing a full face; sometimes, through immersive color coordination along with iconic Elf ears and hair accessories, the character's presence can be conveyed effectively. The shooting perspective is a high-angle overhead shot with a playful, relaxed feel, where the phone sitting right in the center serves as a great visual anchor.

This cozy, home-style studio shoot really tested the lighting set-up, but fortunately, the indoor diffuse light was even enough, and the fluffy ground softened the light beautifully. The clean, versatile white background kept distracting clutter from stealing the visual focus. While organizing this Genshin Impact Nahida outfit, I tried my best to align with her overall aura—petite, agile, yet carrying a touch of mystery. The white-and-green ambient colors, along with the large expanse of white rug and wall, gave the entire photo set a refreshing, breezy atmosphere. I hope everyone who sees these photos can feel this relaxed yet exquisite cosplay moment.
