When shooting this Nahida Cosplay work, my primary focus was on using the studio set, makeup, and hair styling to recreate an aura filled with vitality and pure innocence. While the caption playfully teased "Please don't eat Nahida," it was only when preparing the props and costume in the studio that I realized how much thoughtful refinement was needed across every single detail to bring this Genshin Impact Dendro Archon cosplay to life.

First, regarding the outfit: the main color scheme is an interplay of green and white, blending ruffles, straps, and fantasy-inspired sleeveless silhouettes. The dark green inner top is crafted from fabric with a delicate sheen, which beautifully absorbed the studio's key lights to present subtle, layered depth. The green-and-gold patterned shawls draped over the shoulders are the most eye-catching element—the gold motifs are not flat prints, but heavy-craft embroidery or specialized embossing with rich dimension, accented with dainty metallic bead strings along the edges that cast playful glints of light with every movement and pose change, greatly enhancing character fidelity. The layered, fluffy white skirt paired with emerald green bows enhances overall visual softness, allowing the hemline to drape naturally and smoothly in seated poses.

As for the wig and headpieces, the wig features a white-to-green gradient—pure white at the roots transitioning into a vibrant emerald green toward the tips. To keep the strands sleek while maintaining the right amount of fluffiness, I used setting spray and a curling iron to shape the subtle outward flick. For the rabbit ear headpiece, I selected large plush white ears accented with white pompoms and green blossoms for a playful touch. For the elf ears, I used skin-toned silicone ear covers fitted snugly and blended with specialized makeup techniques so no seams would show under studio lighting. Although the ear covers added a bit of weight, this physical limitation actually helped me maintain a more demure, agile posture when turning or posing, aligning nicely with the Cute girl persona.

For makeup, I opted for a lightweight, translucent base paired with warm, flushed blush under the eyes and across the cheeks. Instead of heavy contouring, I highlighted the center of the face with fine shimmer, paired with green-grey eyeshadow and slender eyelashes to accentuate large, innocent, and lively eyes. For the lips, a soft cinnamon shade was chosen to brighten my complexion without overpowering the visual focus, directing attention toward the iconic green eyes and intricate costume patterns.

During the photoshoot, the photographer was incredibly patient in capturing expressions from diverse angles. For seated poses, I tried crossing my knees and ankles as well as hugging the massive carrot prop. This plush carrot prop is quite large and very soft, instantly maximizing the cozy atmosphere when held. Going barefoot was also a deliberate choice: because the skirt is already ornate, bare feet added visual breathing room, which, paired with loose purple-and-white patterned leg warmers and green straps at the ankles, nicely balanced lower-body visual weight.

In terms of lighting, the studio used a clean white backdrop with large softboxes as the key light, positioned slightly above the front. This effectively eliminated harsh shadows while preserving bright catchlights in the eyes, giving the entire subject a radiant, glowing quality. In post-processing, we avoided heavy over-saturation, preserving fair skin tones and the warm-cool contrast of the green-and-white attire to keep the frame bright and luminous. This combination of styling and lighting aims to express a refreshing, serene, and vibrant feeling reminiscent of a secluded, pristine forest. Experiencing the true charm of the character was the purest original intention behind creating this Anime-style photography set.
