[Genshin Impact - Young Ganyu Cosplay] A Little Fairy with Coexisting Ethereal Vibes and Cuteness

Receiving this set of final photos fills my heart with tenderness. Choosing to restore her during this period is not only because of the fresh and refined styling, but also because I wanted to express that sense of purity and trust stemming from her background lore. For this shoot, we prepared several different scenes and props, hoping to fully showcase that agile yet quiet charm of her childhood.

Let's first talk about the costume, makeup, and props, which are overall based on a palette of ice blue and pure white. The fabric for the blue parts was specially chosen with a pearlescent texture, yielding a delicate luster under the lights. The neckline and edges of the cloak use large areas of white fluff trim, which feels super soft and looks visually warm and healing. The most prominent feature is definitely the pair of red and black horns on her head; the unique shape gives the overall silhouette higher recognition. The blue gloves are the finishing touch, paired with golden bell pendants and cloud patterns, instantly maxing out the level of exquisiteness.

We also put a lot of thought into the coordination of props and set design. The first set is a scene under a moonlit night, holding a transverse flute with red tassels and green jade pendants, with a full moon and yellow flowers in the background, bringing out a quiet and profound atmospheric feel. Then I changed to a longbow; to make the bow-drawing movement, I practiced the exertion technique several times before shooting. Although my arms were a bit sore from the tension, the final resulting frame was full of movement tension and carried an immense sense of power.

The indoor set added a bit more scholarly air. Holding the calligraphy brush, paired with the calligraphy scrolls behind and the warm-toned classical lampstands, looked exceptionally tranquil. Personally, my favorite is the look where I hold the ink-wash paper umbrella. The umbrella surface features clear landscape ink traces, which, when paired with the blue and white robes, gives a misty feeling of Jiangnan rain, perfectly matching the character's classical temperament. As for the folding fan shot, the glancing back movement provided great dynamic interaction for the frame. Finally, in the swing scene, picking up tiny blue flowers with light hitting my face felt natural and translucent.

The process of shooting this set of photos actually heavily tested expression management. I had to maintain that innocent clarity of "childhood" without appearing overly childish. The photographer constantly guided me to look for subtle emotional changes while capturing snapshots, such as the anticipation when gazing into the distance, or the gentleness when looking at the camera. To achieve the best effect, we switched between different lighting and angles back and forth between the studio and outdoor locations. In every final photo, the light cast excellent highlights on the attire, especially the rim light on the edge of the fur collar, making the character pop right out of the background.

Overall, I am highly satisfied with both the texture of the costume and the creation of the atmosphere this time. Whether it's the obedience of holding a brush or the sharpness of drawing a bow and nocking an arrow, it makes me feel this attempt was completely worth it. As another dedicated practice of Genshin Impact cosplay, being able to freeze this greenness and beauty through imagery is an affair full of a sense of achievement.
