[Nahida Cosplay] Genshin Impact Sailor Suit Little Lesser Lord Kusanali's Cozy At-Home Shoot

This time I shot the sailor suit version of Nahida, choosing the classic mint green and white color scheme. Actually, this color combo matches the Dendro element attribute perfectly in the setting, yet it doesn't look out of place in a modernized, daily life cosplay casual transformation. The wig features twin tails with a green gradient on a white base. When I first got it, the ends were a bit frizzy, so I washed it with conditioner and blew it dry to achieve this smooth and translucent effect it has now.

The details of the outfit are mainly the collar part and that necktie. The V-shaped stripes on the tie are handled with handmade stitching. When making it, I realized that if it wasn't reinforced, the tie would flip over when walking around and look terrible, so I manually secured it twice myself. The little star on the pleated skirt is an accessory added later; for no other reason than feeling that once added, this JK uniform gained its own signature identity, no longer being just a generic sailor suit commonly found on the market.

During the shoot, it mostly relied on me capturing the shots facing a mirror. The hardest part regarding the actions was actually the single-leg tip-toeing in Figure 3. Maintaining body balance while letting the skirt hem form a natural wave shape actually required using core and abdominal strength to control. Although sitting on the chair in Figure 2 looks relaxed, to prevent the skirt from clinging to the chair, I specifically applied a layer of anti-static paper on the seat. Looking at the whole set, I think the most eye-catching thing is this clean and bright style, which makes the overall tone very soft when combined with the white floor and plush rug.

Speaking of the "Catalyze reaction" mentioned in the post title, after all, she is the Dendro Archon, so hearing travelers call her "mom" or seeing the Catalyze special effects in the game definitely brings a knowing smile. Therefore, I intentionally infused a bit of a "daily life" vibe into this photo release, wanting to express that cute feel that is both wise and a bit lively. The lens angle also carefully avoided low-angle shots, trying to use eye-level or slight high-angle shots instead, so as to nicely show off the slender feel of the limbs.

Although my room is piled with random odds and ends, like the figures on the left shelf and the air conditioner cover on top, I personally quite like this lived-in background. Compared to solid-color studio shoots, an environment showing traces of daily life makes people feel like the character truly exists in this dimension. The hair strands of the wig gleam under the softbox illumination, and the combination of the white top and the green skirt perfectly complements the skin tone.

As for future ideas, I think a basic style like a sailor suit can actually be mixed and matched creatively. If I have time later, maybe I can switch to a short-sleeved version or pair it directly with over-the-knee socks, which should bring out an entirely different feel. The purpose of this photo shoot was very pure—simply wanting to record how this combination performs under real lighting and movement. After all, every time I pose, I can feel the character's unique aura, which alone makes the filming process quite interesting.
