Putting on Nahida's outfit and standing in the woods feels truly wonderful. This costume has many design details; the white skirt hem with green patterns and Dendro element motifs shows exquisite texture and accuracy. The gradient hair color of the headpiece and sideburns is a key focus, and I specially chose this customized wig to match it. A lot of thought also went into researching the makeup to fit that natural and agile temperament. This set of photos was shot by the photographer @Bainian, who is particularly skilled at capturing outdoor scenes under natural light. When preparing props, this green Dendro Slime plush became a great touch, bringing more life to the frame. During the shoot, we kept looking for ways to interact with the forest's light and shadow to give the images a bit more breathability; sunlight filtering through the leaves onto the faint patterns of the clothes made the character look full of vitality. Actually, when cosplaying a highly popular character, if you want the photos to have a different visual feel, early preparation is genuinely important. The character of Nahida itself has rich emotional layers; besides being lively and cute, I also wanted to capture some quiet moments. To achieve this effect, I tried adjusting my eye focus and the relaxation of my posture, and the photographer also helped find many angles. Passersby occasionally walking around actually made the shooting process feel relaxed and authentic. This cosplay shoot preserved many natural details, and those few frames where the breeze blows through the hair tips feel incredibly vivid to me. Being able to generate a subtle resonance with the character through cosplay is the most enjoyable part of every shoot for my casual cosplay journey.
