[Nero Cosplay] Fate/Grand Order Summer Atmosphere by the Poolside

Letting my hair down for once felt surprisingly refreshing! To harmonize with the breezy, cool poolside Summer atmosphere, I chose not to tie my hair up, opting instead for long, cascading blonde locks. Styling the wig was far more intricate than it might appear: to prevent it from looking stiff outdoors, I applied a curling iron throughout for subtle micro-waves, repeatedly adjusted the curvature of the bangs and back, and locked everything in with generous styling spray. This ensured that whether I leaned forward or tilted my head, the strands maintained a natural drape without getting tossed around by the breeze.

For makeup, the primary focus was on the eyes. The bright green contact lenses were striking, while the eyeshadow featured an expansive reddish tone extended along the lower lids. Combined with slightly elongated eyeliner wings, this not only energized the gaze but also introduced an alluring, dreamy depth before the camera. The lips used a matching gradient tint to echo the eye palette. The centerpiece of the wardrobe was the red-and-white striped swimsuit—an eye-catching color scheme under bright sunlight made from substantial, form-fitting fabric that eliminated wardrobe worries. The outer sheer white cover-up was the true highlight: being lightweight and semi-translucent, sitting on the white wicker chair allowed the chiffon to drape gently along the body's curves with every breeze or slight posture shift, revealing the swimsuit colors beneath with rich layering.

We chose a slight high-angle perspective, ideal for capturing seated poses on the chair. Following the photographer's guidance, I turned slightly to the side with legs crossed, which elongated the leg silhouette while letting the cover-up hem drape with graceful elegance. Dappled sunlight filtering through the chiffon across the lower body created exquisite visual texture. To enhance the summer leisure vibe, we misted water droplets onto the legs, which instantly elevated the tactile depth alongside the shimmering pool ripples.

Being near water in a revealing outfit made sun protection and touch-ups our biggest hurdles. Under intense UV rays, I reapplied sunscreen spray every half hour and constantly checked for shine or makeup breakdown around the nose and eye corners. The white chiffon cover-up was vulnerable to water, nearly getting drenched multiple times and requiring meticulous caution. Outdoor summer shoots are physically demanding, but seeing the relaxed, refreshing mood captured through Swimming pool photography made every bit of effort worthwhile.
