[Kurumi Tsuchimikado cosplay] Summer Swimsuit in NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, Charging up Sword Aura!

This time, I am sharing photos of Kurumi Tsuchimikado's swimsuit look. The overall outfit mainly features a white semi-sheer short-sleeved top paired with navy blue high-waisted printed shorts, accessorized with her iconic black double buns, long cascading red and black braided hair, and plush cat-ear hair accessories. The top has dark piping at the neckline and cuffs, and the shorts have white vertical stripes and highly three-dimensional white flower patterns on the sides, giving it a very refreshing summer vibe. The slender blue prop in my hand is a small accessory prepared specially; combined with the sword aura vibe mentioned in the post title, it adds a bit of kinetic imagination to the static photos.

The shooting environment was chosen in my own bedroom, where the wooden floor, white plush rug, and floral curtains on one side create a casual, slice-of-life home feel. Natural light filters in from the window on the right, hitting the body to make the material texture of the clothing clearer, while also showcasing the character's anime style. To reflect better visual effects, I specially tried a pose like the one in the second picture, standing with one leg lifted. This beautifully displays the leg lines and the overall extension of the body; compared to the static feel of standing on both feet in the first picture, this one possesses stronger dynamic energy, so it was chosen as the cover photo.

In doing this Kurumi swimsuit look, what I cared about most was the comfort of wearing the costume and the accuracy of the overall color scheme. The semi-sheer material of the top is lightweight and breathable, making it relatively cool for summer shooting, and of course, it presents a very light effect under the lights. The high-waisted design of the shorts beautifully sculpts the figure, and the patchwork craftsmanship of the flowers on the side features excellent details. The cat ears and double buns on the headpiece complement each other, plus the embellishment of plush balls and colored braided cords, making the entire look appear not only playful but also highlighting the character's own lively personality.

When posing, I also try my best to let the body occupy the center position of the frame, while balancing the composition through the posture of holding the prop in hand, preventing the image from looking rigid. In fact, I also shot a lot of discarded frames while finding angles, and these final two kept are those I feel have the best overall proportion and atmosphere.

Next, let's talk about the detailed considerations of this look. Looking at the hair section, the red braided hair elements on a black base, along with the white plush cat ears on the crown, are the visual focus of this look, which not only gives the head a layered feel but also concentrates the sight well on the character's temperament. As for the prop, although it is just a simple slender blue object, using it to simulate sword aura or coordinate with gestures can increase the storytelling within the frame, allowing the audience to associate it with the character's skill performance in the game when seeing the photos.

Actually, when shooting a home-style cosplay in an indoor setting, the most important thing is how to showcase the character's traits and the costume's own advantages within a limited space. I positioned this shoot as an everyday casual style, instead of choosing complex outdoor settings, utilizing everyday items at home like the rug, curtains, and wardrobe to highlight the character through mirror reflections. This relaxed, realistic presentation method might also allow everyone to see another approachable facet of cosplay for a unique Roleplay experience.

Finally, overall speaking, whether it is the costume, props, or the action performance during shooting, I tried my best to lean toward fitting the character of Kurumi Tsuchimikado. Although it is a swimsuit-themed outfit, I still wanted to retain the character's vivid and agile personal colors. This is probably the original intention and the feeling I wanted to express in sharing this set of cosplay photos this time.
