When posing, I tried to stay as relaxed as possible. For instance, sitting on the gray sofa with one hand gently resting against my lips and gazing directly into the lens, or naturally extending my legs while slightly angling my torso to show off the layered volume of the skirt. Leaning against the bar counter, resting my chin in both hands or propping myself up with one hand against the tabletop effortlessly captured that languid yet playfully thoughtful mood of an Energetic girl.

From a photographic perspective, this photo set heavily tested the mastery of light and shadow. Soft side rim-lighting illuminated the hair strands and the fine edges of the lace, while frontal fill light needed to be uniform and diffused to prevent harsh facial shadows.
