[Fiona cosplay] Identity V Outdoor Shoot: An Adorable Girl Under Clear Blue Skies

Today I cosplayed Fiona from Identity V, choosing an open public plaza under crisp blue skies and fluffy clouds for our outdoor shoot. The outfit's palette is delightfully fresh: a short-sleeved white collared shirt paired with green overall shorts, accented with vibrant orange trim along the collar and cuffs to bring out an energetic charm. To stay faithful to her character build, I studied the fine costume accents closely. The shorts feature a bloomer silhouette with cinched hems and yellow dashed stitching along the flanks, but the sweetest highlight has to be the two amber-yellow cargo pockets printed with animal graphics. For hair and makeup, I wore a light chestnut-brown long wavy wig paired with bright emerald-green cosmetic contacts, emphasizing defined lashes and clean eyeliner to make the eyes look wide and spirited. The overall makeup leaned translucent, prioritizing porcelain skin texture and soft pink lips while avoiding heavy contouring to maintain a youthful, airy glow.

For styling, I wore knee-high white stockings accented with black trim and panda motifs, matched with yellow-and-white low-top canvas sneakers. The prop department included a floppy-eared white plush bunny and a compact yellow toy camera. The plush texture of the bunny added charming warmth on camera, while the camera prop enriched compositions and sparked interactive posing. The weather was on our side with blazing sunshine framing the bright sky as a natural backdrop. I snapped mock-selfies with the camera, perched the bunny atop my head, and cradled it warmly across my chest. While the clothing is loose and comfortable, it felt wonderfully breezy to run around in. The plaza had moderate foot traffic, but passersby were very kind, making for a friendly atmosphere on set. The photographer captured varied perspectives, alternating between dynamic full-body action snaps and close-up facial portraits.

The real test of an outdoor shoot lies in handling sunlight and staying relaxed; I focused on keeping my composure natural to capture candid micro-gestures. Eschewing complex studio lighting in favor of sunny slice-of-life realism made the green-and-white palette feel tailored for summer. Holding the camera aloft for extended periods left my arms a bit sore, but seeing the finished gallery made every second worthwhile. The finished shots turned out crisp and lighthearted—an effortless, buoyant cosplay style I have thoroughly enjoyed exploring lately. During wardrobe adjustments, I paid special attention to keeping the overall suspenders smooth and the stocking cuffs aligned so the details hold up under close inspection. Bringing a 2D character into the real world to soak in the sun and breeze is always a thrilling journey, making this a joyful and fulfilling cosplay experience.
