For this Elysia Cosplay, the focus this time was placed on the Elysia Pristine Bloom form of Herrscher of Human: Ego cosplay. To capture the character's aura, extensive time was spent on pre-styling the wig, focusing on shaping the bangs and the curvature of the side locks. For contact lenses, I chose the character's canonical blue, and applied duochrome shimmer powders to the eye makeup to make the eyes look more lively and luminous. The dress texture and accessories are rather intricate, requiring patient steaming before shooting to ensure the lace folds and chiffon drape achieved an ideal state. This shoot took place in a studio featuring soft lighting and floral arrangements. The seated pose in Photo 4 was selected as the cover because of its centered composition without clipping near the edges. To highlight the leg lines in the photo, I deliberately controlled the arch of my instep while posing and adjusted the skirt hem to ensure the details of the White stockings and thigh rings were fully showcased, which was a crucial step in embodying the character's gentle elegance. During the shoot, to ensure natural-looking movements, I repeatedly tested different sitting angles among the flowers and balanced my body's center of gravity to avoid stiffness. Furthermore, the violin prop was also a vital element in the shoot. For the violin-holding posture, I consulted musical friends beforehand, ensuring finger placement and bow angles were as close to real playing posture as possible. The overall ambiance during this shoot was very relaxed; through communicating with the photographer about lighting and reflector placement, we achieved a wonderfully clear and translucent result. Since the original post included an apology for meme-ing and OOC moments, as a cosplayer I also pondered how to infuse the photos with relaxed emotions without deviating from the character's true nature. What required the most patience during this shoot was protecting the voluminous dress train from getting soiled, which demanded utmost care in straightening the garments between takes. Overall, it was a deeply enjoyable shooting experience, and in front of the lens, I gradually found the true essence belonging to this character.
