[Hyacinthia cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail: Did Little Ica Have Candy Today?

Today's mirror selfie session was mainly to log the costume fitting for Honkai: Star Rail's Hyacinthia, while feeding Little Ica plenty of sweet White Rabbit Candy along the way. Little Ica isn't chubby at all—just extremely fluffy and the perfect size to cradle in my arms without ever gaining weight! The outfit's layering is truly well-balanced: an inner red collared blouse worn beneath an outer white long-sleeved jacket, where the red-and-blue wavy ribbon trims along the cuffs and hem add lovely textural depth. Tying the blue neckerchief around the collar brought the entire palette into effortless harmony. For the wig, I selected pink twintails customized with a subtle grey-blue gradient toward the tips, topped off with a scarlet beret and matching red hair scrunchies to stay faithful to canon details. Even though my phone obscured my face, I made sure to emphasize gradual gradient eye makeup and kept the foundation base luminous and clear.

Wardrobe-wise, the white miniskirt was styled with white knee-high socks, where the two red-and-blue stripes along the sock cuffs echoed the ribbon motifs across the coat. For footwear, I went with glossy black platform Mary Janes; the chunky platform soles elongated my proportions nicely while providing steady, comfortable walking. The backdrop was simply an ordinary room: a refrigerator covered in my magnet collection and a desk holding the Little Ica collaboration box. When taking mirror selfies, I typically anchor my weight on one leg and slightly cross the other to showcase the garment's silhouette and clean leg lines. During fitting, keeping an eye on the jacket's drape is crucial—the wide sleeves easily appear bulky without the right angle, so I held the plushie in one arm while operating my phone with the other, using the arm placement to contour the upper body cleanly.

Prop-wise, the Little Ica plushie was the absolute star of the show. Its snowy white body, paired with a red-and-blue hat and bow tie, matched Hyacinthia's ensemble seamlessly. To enrich visual layers, I attached a miniature matching plush charm to my outfit, using staggered sizes to add depth. Beyond the plushie, the White Rabbit Candy collaboration packaging on the desk offered unmistakable branding flair. While many view this design as purely sweet, wearing it properly requires managing numerous subtleties. For instance, tying the necktie: knotting it too low elongates the torso awkwardly, whereas knotting it too high chokes the neck, requiring multiple adjustments to lock down the ideal placement. The gradient tips of the wig also needed careful combing to prevent knots from compromising the texture.

Overall, I'm thrilled with the texture and color synergy from this fitting—the red, white, and blue palette looked soft and warm under ambient room lighting. Cradling Little Ica in front of the mirror exploring angles, I went through dozens of snaps before picking out these satisfying shots. Next time, I plan to take Little Ica on an outdoor location shoot to test varied lighting setups.
