[Sunna cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Sunna Swimsuit: A Refreshing Summer by the Pool

Presenting this summer Swimsuit cosplay styling of Sunna from Zenless Zone Zero. Following the initial teaser preview, so many friends asked about this project; in truth, this series was wrapped under blistering sunshine right along an open-air swimming pool. Because the character naturally radiates a poised, cool, and confident aura, we took great care selecting the right cut for the School swimsuit. While the base silhouette appears minimalist, honoring her canonical presentation meant custom-formatting the strawberry nametag badge across the chest, echoing the vibrant orange strap accents along the garter rings.

Touching upon the wig styling, Sunna's silvery-white cropped tresses carry immense recognition, so I chose a short, texturized cut with voluminous tiers. The triangular black hair clips and bright yellow cat-ear accents form the beating heart of her silhouette; keeping these miniature pieces anchored against unpredictable outdoor gusts required generous bobby pinning, with our stylist setting the fiber geometry with utmost care. In cosmetics, pale blue circle lenses brightened the gaze against a porcelain, cool-toned base. The foundation was engineered with rigorous waterproofing, remaining pristine without separating or oxidizing through the afternoon heat.

For props, I wielded a black-and-white toy water gun patterned with panda-face polka dots, crowned by a vivid orange flared muzzle. It felt wonderfully substantial in hand, introducing engaging kinetic energy during shooting. Wearing over-the-knee White stockings poolside carries the constant hazard of soaking up water and sagging, requiring perpetual vigilance across slick tiles. Monochromatic ruffled wrist cuffs were layered in as well, injecting a subtle hint of maid-inspired flair.

Posing poolside demanded surprising core stability. The sleek white poolside lounge chairs were slick; holding crossed-leg or forward-leaning side-seated angles required bracing my core to preserve graceful balance while ensuring muscular tension appeared fluid and relaxed. In the direct frontal seated frame, executing clean crossed legs meant pointing the arch of the foot to elongate the silhouette. The chromatic palette tilted toward cool tones to harmonize with the azure sky and turquoise water, with post-production intentionally retaining organic summer chiaroscuro rather than over-smoothing the skin to preserve authentic texture.

The finished set delivers a refreshing yet subtly dangerous allure, perfectly channeling the magnetic, cool detachment native to Sunna in canon. I hope everyone enjoys this poolside interpretation, and look forward to sharing more eclectic roleplay projects soon.
