[Yixuan cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Chalcedony Ice Core Style: White Tights, Folding Fan, and Traditional Chinese Woodwork Setting

Today, this Yixuan photo set in the Chalcedony ice core aesthetic is finally finished. The costume is a modified white qipao dress with black piped trim; the upper half features delicate floral lace embroidery, with black edge piping tracing the collar, waist, and hem to balance the visual expansion of white fabrics. The lower portion consists of a short pleated lace skirt paired with over-the-knee white stockings. For hair accessories, black-and-white ribbon bows and hairclips featuring small eye motifs were selected, harmonized with long straight silver-white hair and golden contacts to anchor the overall tone. Carrying a white folding fan alongside sheer white gloves rounded out all the subtle details.

During the shoot, to accentuate the jacquard textures and lace layers of the dress, the key light was kept slightly cool-toned, complemented by subtle pink fill light to keep the white fabric looking vibrant rather than flat. Pose-wise, I tried a seiza kneeling pose while holding the fan; since the skirt is short, kneeling naturally flatters the leg contours. Regarding whether to wear over-the-knee stockings, we tested multiple versions. Photos 1 and 3 feature White tights cosplay, while Photo 2 shows the bare-legged look. The white over-the-knee stockings set against wooden folding screens and cherry blossoms create a charming clash between traditional Chinese gardens and anime aesthetics. Kneeling barefoot on the plush rug shifted attention away from the lower body, directing focus toward facial expressions and the lace details of the bodice.

Cosplaying light-toned characters always brings challenges in texture reproduction: insufficient lighting during the shoot often leads to blown-out highlights in post-production, losing the delicate weaves of the fabric. Therefore, I communicated with the photographer beforehand to ensure the fabric texture and clear, translucent skin tones were captured on-camera. Wig styling was equally crucial—silver-white hair blows out easily under intense lighting, making indoor softboxes the safest option to preserve fine hair strands. For makeup, golden-yellow contacts were complemented by orange-red and earthy gradient eyeshadows, lending an otherworldly charm without feeling overly heavy. To align with this look, I continually adjusted the alignment between the glove borders and the waist cutouts to ensure clean framing.

At the start of my post, I asked everyone which version of Master they preferred; between the two variations, my personal favorite is Photo 3, where the angle contours the body lines gracefully and resting the fan before my chest conveys strong presence. Some friends noted that the colorway and texture evoke the feeling of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT's Chalcedony ice core, and indeed this Yixuan styling embraced a subtle fusion of styles.
