[Chinatsu Remiel cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero KFC Collaboration Shopping Bag Outfit Live Photoshoot

Today I'm excited to share this cosplay of Chinatsu Remiel from Zenless Zone Zero. This shoot coincided with the ongoing KFC collaboration event, where the in-store character standees and thematic promotional posters offered tremendous atmosphere, making it the perfect backdrop for this 'Angels of Delusion' styling. To address the element everyone is most curious about—the wardrobe: this shopping bag-inspired coordination revolves primarily around a pastel pink and white palette, staying true to Remiel's sweet yet delightfully spunky personality.

For the wig, I selected a pale platinum blonde leaning subtly toward soft green with gentle waves, locked in with styling hairspray to grant the crown airy volume without collapsing flat against the scalp. Triangular black hairpins and a miniature handheld-console hairclip featuring pink hearts and blue retro screen graphics were pinned into the bangs, injecting unmistakable character identity into the micro-details. On the makeup front, emerald-green contact lenses were paired with soft pink eyeshadow and sweeping blush, capturing that innocent yet subtly mischievous gaze from the source art. The black leather studded choker hugging my neck introduced an intentional touch of rebellious edge, perfectly tempering the overt sweetness of the attire.

The top consists of a white sleeveless cropped vest printed with playful pastel anime creatures in pink and blue, stamped at the hem with the KFC logo as a signature nod to the collaboration. Over this, I layered slouchy pink-and-white knit arm warmers; their soft yarn texture reflected the warm interior lighting gently, while the bunched fabric folds added tactile dimension to the frames. The lower half features a tiered pastel-pink plaid miniskirt paired with over-the-knee White stockings and chunky black platform loafers. The White stockings are truly an indispensable soul of this styling, flattering the leg lines while the exposed thigh gap between the hosiery and the hemline elongates overall vertical proportions.

Shooting on location was an absolute blast. In a bustling public fast-food restaurant, lighting control and background composition posed the steepest challenges. Bathed under warm overhead downlights amid diners and colorful wall signage, I relied on shooting wide open to melt the promotional posters and standees into creamy bokeh, locking absolute visual focus onto the subject. For seated postures, crossing my legs naturally showcased the pairing of the over-the-knee socks and platform loafers while creating relaxed, fluid body contours. Flashing a hand-heart gesture was a spontaneous improvisation on set; framed by the slouchy knit arm warmers, the hands looked wonderfully rounded, cozy, and endearing.

As a cosplayer, pre-shoot makeup tests and wig styling demand immense dedication, but seeing the final selects makes every ounce of effort worthwhile. When shooting in public venues, I always tuck myself into corner booths or quieter pockets to avoid disturbing other patrons, which remains essential convention etiquette. Shooting inside the restaurant lent a natural, slice-of-life clash against the 2D character design, echoing the modern urban fantasy world of Zenless Zone Zero to perfection. Overall, I am thoroughly delighted with how this set turned out.
