[Cantarella Fisalia cosplay] Wuthering Waves: Come Close to Me, and You Might Just Get Poisoned~

"Come close to me, and you might just get poisoned~" For this studio shoot completed via a Changchun photoshoot booking, the main focus was on using the camera to express that mysterious, dangerous, yet opulent temperament of Cantarella Fisalia from Wuthering Waves. When communicating with planner Xiaochen beforehand, we determined that we wanted a dreamy, vintage oil-painting aesthetic. A wealth of details went into preparing the entire cosplay styling, costumes, and props—from the fluffiness of the wig to the folds of the dress, every element had to align perfectly. Special thanks to wig stylist Lingxi for helping tidy the styling on set, and makeup artist Xiao Ai, especially for the purple shading on the eye makeup that unified with the hair color, giving the character's expression a deeper nuance and achieving high styling fidelity.

The photoshoot took place at the Mizongting Changchun Photography Studio, where the set decor truly elevated the photos. Peacock blue walls paired with multiple gold-framed vintage decorative paintings, alongside a room filled with purple and blue floral arrangements, created a striking color harmony with the blue-and-white gradient dress of the character. When I first stepped into the studio and saw the abundance of prop flowers and ornaments, I felt the atmosphere was already spot on.

Regarding the specific poses across these three photos: in the first image, I chose to sit on a carved wooden chair with my legs raised and crossed. Wearing White stockings paired with white platform high heels this time, we specifically adjusted to a low-angle perspective to emphasize leg lines, enhancing perspective distortion to visually elongate proportions. Blue butterfly wing accessories adorned the feet, and during shooting, I held a teacup in hand to convey an effortless, leisurely demeanor of sipping tea with poised elegance, all while retaining a touch of playfulness.

The second photo features a standing skirt-lifting pose, primarily designed to showcase the white bow design of the upper top and the waist tailoring. The chest and shoulder areas have delicate details which, together with the blue-purple skirt hem, highlight the graceful drape of layered fabrics. There is also a golden patterned print on my leg that was deliberately revealed during the standing shot to add a localized visual accent.

The third photo captures me reclining on the carpet, leaning against that vintage gold-carved table. Petals were scattered on the floor before shooting, which, paired with the geometric glass lamp glowing with cyan-blue light on the table, created a languid, serene sense of solitude. This reclining posture placed high demands on the arrangement of the skirt hem; the styling assistant helped me carefully arrange the blue outer skirt and white inner lining layer by layer so they blossomed across the scene like petals in full bloom.

The overall post-processing color grading leans toward a blue-purple tone, creating a refined contrast between the dark environmental shades and the bright colors on the subject. The White stockings also intentionally preserved a translucent luminosity. Reflecting on this experience, although the costume's weight is top-heavy and physically demanding to wear, maintaining a relaxed ease before the camera was paramount. The photography and retouching teams helped tremendously; presenting these final results was truly a collaborative effort, and I am deeply grateful for everyone's hard work on set for this Cantarella Fisalia cosplay from Wuthering Waves.
