[Misaki cosplay] Regal Queen Aura under Blue Archive's Genryumon

This shoot portrays the character Misaki from Blue Archive. For this Anime cosplay, the overall styling featured a black-and-gold modified Qipao outfit. The golden dragon embroidery across the chest and right side boasts incredible texture, while the mandarin collar and blue frog buttons add striking visual accents against the dark palette. An outer layer of a dark striped long coat with a silky light-blue lining creates dynamic layering as I move. The hairstyle consists of blunt bangs and long hair arranged into a back bun, accented by blue butterfly hairpins and a long black ponytail.

In preparing props, beyond the iconic folding fan, I deliberately chose a rifle with a wooden stock. The metallic heft of the firearm contrasts sharply with the soft fabric of the Qipao outfit; holding it steady took genuine arm strength, perfectly fitting the character's persona of combining classical elegance with an unyielding edge. The black stiletto heels heightened the commanding presence—wearing bare legs instead of stockings with stilettos visually elongated leg lines.

During the shoot, the photographer gave guidance akin to a hands-on Photography tutorial, directing me to work with the blue sofa and round pedestal to emphasize bodily silhouettes. For instance, sitting on the pedestal while gently pulling my hair with one hand required controlling my center of gravity to accentuate back curves and leg lines. When glancing back from the blue sofa, the expression needed to stay aloof, locking onto the lens with an imposing gaze. In post-processing, compositing ethereal glowing blue butterflies became the soul of this set, adding airy transcendence against a minimalist grayscale backdrop. To maintain a clean visual, composition was centered. When posing with the rifle or fan, keeping shoulders level and the spine upright projected that resolute aura of a young commander even without direct eye contact.
