[Robin cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail's Little Bird, Full Attendance Check-in for Two Days at CPG Comic Convention

Today at the Magic Card Monster Master booth in Hall 3 of the CPG Comic Convention, this Robin outfit has already achieved its second day of full attendance. To recreate that light and gorgeous feel of the little bird, the makeup and styling alone were prepared well in advance. The wig is a light purple-blue with a grayish tint; after trimming the layers, fine glitter was sprayed onto the bangs. When the exhibition hall's overhead lighting hits, it creates a subtle starlight effect. Green colored contacts paired with eye makeup featuring deepened outer corners, special glitter applied at the outer corners of the eyes, and the mole below the right eye bring out the overall atmosphere. Long-lasting foundation was used since the venue is crowded and warm, so both setting spray and loose powder had to be pressed down firmly. The elf ear props were attached to the edges of the auricles using special effects glue, with edges blended with concealer so it doesn't look too abrupt when viewed from the side. The details of the costume are truly worth admiring. The purple bodice features silver horizontal stripes and gold edge outlining, while the white ruffled sheer fabric at the chest neckline is paired with a black choker, and a metal piece with stars and pearl drop pendants hangs in the middle of the neck. The hem of the bodice features golden tassels and transparent teardrop crystal pendants that gently collide when walking. The purple-white gradient feather wings on the back are the highlight and the most painstaking part of the entire outfit; to give them a natural spread curve, a slight wire skeleton was added inside. When arriving at the venue on the first day, the feathers got slightly pressed while passing through the ticket gates and squeezing into the elevator. Returning to the hotel at night, I quickly used a steam garment steamer to smooth them out, and by the second day, they returned to their fluffy state. Standing in front of the booth in Hall 3, fellow fans came over one after another for photos. Everyone was very friendly and chatted about Robin's details, such as the layers of the headwear or the color matching of the makeup. Since I wore the same character for two days, I'm already very familiar with the wearing sequence of this outfit—the straps, choker, and wings on the back can basically be put on neatly within half an hour. To keep the makeup intact, when touching up at noon, I only used oil-absorbing sheets to press the T-zone, followed by a thin layer of pressed powder to avoid patchiness. The CPG venue was huge this time, and walking from Hall 3 to other areas to grab things meant constantly minding the width of the wings to avoid brushing against passersby. This Robin styling is actually very picky about lighting in terms of color. The color temperature varies across different areas of the venue, and the purple sometimes photographs looking overly blue or gray. Therefore, when looking for shooting locations, I tried to find areas with whiter overhead lighting so the clothing's silver stripes and pearl gloss could shine through. The wig's purple-blue tone appears softer under natural light and looks colder under a flash. Every time I cosplay a character with wings and special props like this, it's a physical test, but seeing the final photos makes all the painstaking obsession with details totally worth it. The two-day little bird experience, whether from the makeup, props, or costume details, strove to closely match the original setting, and I hope to meet everyone at the venue again next time with even more refined gear.
