[Acheron Cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail Dual-Form Acheron, Twin Swords and Red Umbrella Maxed Out in Tension

This time at the convention, I finally brought both forms of Acheron from Honkai: Star Rail to the site. To restore that sense of oppression and detached coolness, I really put a lot of effort into the clothing and props during the preparation stage. The silver-white wig needed to be combed and smoothed every day to avoid frizz, while the blue-haired form required focusing on layering the bangs and sideburns to make them look natural and fit the face shape. For the contact lenses, red and blue eyes corresponded to the auras of the two forms respectively, and the base makeup was deliberately made cold and white, coordinated with red blending at the outer corners of the eyes to highlight the character's cold glamour.

The material selection of the costume really tested the details. The texture of the black leather shorts and tube top needed to be stiff, and the outer grey-black cape was specially customized with a red ghost mask pattern. The red spider web tattoo on the abdomen was drawn piece by piece with a body painting pen, and to ensure it wouldn't smudge during shooting, setting spray was applied after makeup. The two long swords in my hand were customized, with reflective coatings on the blades, which, matched with the red and blue stage lighting, resulted in a fantastic photo effect. The skeleton of the red oil-paper umbrella was very sturdy, and its curve when opened was just right to frame the composition.

When shooting this set of Convention photos, the biggest challenge was the coordination of double-person actions. To showcase the atmosphere of confrontation and fighting side-by-side, we tried crossed dual swords, back-to-back standing, and staggered front-and-back compositions. When kneeling on one knee with the long sword, I still needed to control the flame tattoo sticker on my thigh so it wasn't blocked by the leather boots, while keeping the upper body upright. The on-site lighting adopted a gradient light array of cool blue on the left and warm red on the right, and the light and shadow intersected on the leather clothes and swords, greatly enhancing the frame's three-dimensional sense and storytelling. The umbrella-holding picture required absolute stability of arm strength while also taking care of the sharp gaze.

The posture of crossing the two swords particularly tested the control of hand strength, and even a slight deviation would make the composition look messy. When posing, I would intentionally put my center of gravity on the back leg, with the front leg lightly touching the ground, which could lengthen the leg lines and also conform to the dynamic sense of the character during combat. The cuffs of the blue-haired form were relatively wide and tended to block the face when wielding weapons, so during shooting breaks, I had to constantly tidy up the cuffs and the hem of the clothes to ensure every raw photo maintained the best state. Although the long leather boots looked good, walking back and forth in the convention venue was still somewhat tiring, but seeing the final photos on the camera screen made all the hard work worthwhile.

This makeup and styling received great assistance from partner @XiaoHeiYong, and polishing the actions of the two people took quite a bit of time. To restore that sense of destiny in the character's lines, we made many designs in eye contact. The switching of dual forms was not only a change in costume color, but more of a transition in temperament. The silver-white form leaned towards depth and mystery, while the blue-haired form appeared sharper and more direct. I hope everyone likes this set of Convention photos, and I will continue to try more challenging characters in the future.
