[Sandrone Cosplay] Genshin Impact Fatui Harbinger Sandrone's exquisite makeup and styling - Image 1

Today, this Sandrone costume is finally put on, and the overall makeup and styling took longer than expected. To match the exquisite and mysterious temperament of the Fatui Harbinger in Genshin Impact, I put a lot of effort into the coordination. The blue and white colored dress incorporates playing card elements, presenting a subtle fairy tale feel. The black bow at the neckline and the red heart-shaped accessory in the middle are the visual center of the upper body; made of glossy material, they have a great reflective effect under the lights, making the clothes look less monotonous.

For the wig part, a light gray leaning towards white color was chosen, trimmed with blunt bangs and long sideburns on both sides. To increase the sense of layering, I also added that wide headband with geometric patterns on top of the head. The pattern of the headband and the playing card style on the clothes visually echo each other, making the overall head contour and proportion look much fuller. Grooming the smoothness of the wig requires a bit of patience, especially the sideburns part, which needs to be slightly curved with a flat iron.

In terms of makeup, the focus was placed on the eye makeup part. To match this character, bright blue contact lenses were worn, the false eyelashes were chosen in a thick and slender style, and the aegyo-sal and lower eyelid extension were drawn more clearly, which can enlarge the eyes in front of the lens. The blush was applied relatively heavily, using an orange-toned color, paired with an orange-toned lip makeup of the same color scheme, making the facial features look more three-dimensional and the complexion better when on camera. The base makeup pursues being lightweight yet having sufficient coverage to ensure it doesn't look heavy under photographic lighting.

The shooting environment is quite classic, taking mirror selfies with a phone inside a photography studio. Right beside are black softboxes and light stands; I didn't deliberately avoid these equipment pieces, but instead felt that these behind-the-scenes elements placed in the frame gave a strong sense of work documentation. Finding an angle slightly, it happened to capture the collar, sleeve details of the clothes, and the lighting environment behind into the frame. The lace ruffles and small black bows at the cuffs, plus the white apron printed with red hearts, diamonds, and spades on the skirt body, make the sense of layering very prominent. Hanging on the side is a small white plush toy, adding a bit of playful atmosphere.

Wearing this outfit requires a bit of skill, especially the zipper on the back and the tightening of the waist, to ensure it doesn't look bulky during shooting. Usually, doing cosplay often requires one person bustling around backstage for a long time, but after seeing the overall effect, these cumbersome steps are nothing. Today's scene setup is actually very ordinary, just an everyday photography studio, but because the clothes are brighter in color, as long as the front lighting position is adjusted well, the color restoration is very high. Phone selfies actually test focal length quite a bit; pulling back slightly and utilizing the reflection of the mirror happens to capture this half-body composition. Putting both the face and clothing elements in the center of the frame, avoiding the edges of the frame, makes the resulting effect relatively natural. Observing the image in the mirror closely, the red patterns of the playing cards and the red heart at the neckline play a great embellishing role in the main blue and white color scheme.

The overall feeling of the character Sandrone actually leans towards cold and stern, but because of the color scheme of this outfit and the stacking of playing card elements, it instead presents a wonderful bizarre-cute style. Today is mainly to record the state after finishing the makeup; I feel the makeup surface was handled quite cleanly, the light in the studio hit just right, and both the blue texture of the clothes and the white lace were photographed very clearly. Every time preparing these details, I can feel the joy brought by cosplay. The above is today's cosplay record, and I am quite satisfied with the overall effect myself.
