Time for a little seriousness—check this out! For these March 7th hall shots taken at Zhuhai Comic Con, genuine effort went into everything from selecting fabric textures to the final photo selection. The white shirt has a crisp, structured cut, with gold stars and buttons at the collar adding a delightfully refined touch. The most eye-catching feature is definitely the gradient blue-purple laser fabric spliced along the shoulders and sleeves. Under the venue's overhead lights, this material produces brilliant specular reflections; to capture this shimmering, iridescent sheen, the photographer had me adjust my standing spot repeatedly, testing countless angles until finding the perfect moment of refraction.
The skirt features rich layered detailing, with the classic blue-and-white pleated hem bordered by crisp white stripes. The holographic rainbow belt at the waist is the crowning touch—though its strapping is intricate, it plays a massive role in securing the hem and accentuating the waistline. For the lower half, chunky-heeled black ankle boots paired with blue-and-white leg warmers and bow accents felt a bit heavy when walking, but provided steady footing. To bring out the character's lively energy, I incorporated thoughtful micro-movements into the poses, such as lifting one leg playfully toward the camera or kneeling on a white faux-fur rug with a cheeky tongue-out expression.
Styling the wig took plenty of care this time: the shoulder-length pink hair was cut with pronounced texture and layers, while the bangs were trimmed slightly back to prevent them from blocking my vision during dynamic poses. For eye makeup, large-diameter blue-purple contact lenses combined with bold eyeliner and clearly defined individual false eyelashes maximized eye size and anime aesthetic. To complement her cheerful vitality, I opted for a high-saturation coral-red lip tint, allowing the entire makeup to retain crisp three-dimensionality even under harsh light.
Regarding props, that sci-fi compound bow was an absolute workout. To execute an authentic draw-and-aim posture, I not only had to keep my arms rock-steady but also engage my core to keep my body from swaying. The weight of the bow combined with the pink arrow was a true test during low-angle, looking-up close-ups of drawing the bow, but seeing the fierce tension in the finished shots made every bit of exhaustion worthwhile. I also loved the light blue digital camera prop; holding it in hand enriched the storytelling in each shot and made camera interactions feel completely natural.
Shooting in a public venue like a comic con often means dealing with cluttered backgrounds, which is where wide-aperture lenses really shine. Whether in standing full-body shots or kneeling close-ups, the creamy bokeh effectively pulled visual focus back onto the character. The shot kneeling on one knee holding the bow and arrow used a high-angle perspective to beautifully highlight the skirt details and leg contours, which, paired with a piercing gaze, delivered a completely unexpected and striking edge of fierceness. The venue was quite warm that day, and dashing around in full gear while breaking a sweat was a tough challenge for both makeup longevity and stamina. Still, as long as the character's distinct spirit shines through the lens, this photo set is more than rewarding.
