Let's talk specifically about the cut of this outfit. This short suit jacket features a waist-cinching treatment, positioned right at the waistline, visually elongating the lower body proportion and making it look very slender. The gray bodycon skirt on the lower body adds a high-slit design on the side, preventing the overall look from being too rigid when walking or posing, while providing better room for movement and increasing visual layering. Since the skirt length is just above the knee, paired with black platform high heels, the whole person looks tall and capable.
In terms of accessories, the work badge and blue lanyard are the finishing touches, and coupled with the hard-shell black briefcase, the workplace vibe instantly comes out. Another action holding the briefcase and supporting the forehead is actually meant to express a sense of exhaustion after finishing a day's work and finally being able to go off work. To maintain the vividness of the frame, the actions couldn't be too stiff, and I was also adjusting the arm angle holding the briefcase during shooting breaks.
To fit the identity of a teacher, the original concept creator Yesong also helped brainstorm props in the scene during the early stage, such as the stick figure doodle on the greenboard, colorful magnetic beads, and chalk dust. Although these details are small, they add a lot of everyday life breath and realism to the frame. From the preliminary preparation to the completion of the shoot for this set of photos, a lot of thought was put into it.
At the shooting site, the lighting arrangement also took quite a bit of effort. The material of the clothes has a slight reflection under the light. To prevent the photos from looking poor in texture, the lighting engineer adjusted for a long time, trying to make the fabric present its original matte texture.
